Cowboy Junkies

The Cosmic Force
I've been listening to the Cowboy Junkies album Early 21st Century Blues on repeat for about six months now. It is a collection of 11 songs, all more or less, and rather pointedly at that, anti-war. They cover Dylan's License to Kill, Springsteen's Brothers Under The Bridge and You're Missing, George Harrison's Isn't It A Pity, John Lennon's I Don't Want to Be a Soldier, U2's One, and the song I can't get out of my head, Ritchie Havn's Handouts in the Rain.

Then there are a couple of new CJ songs and a cover of the standard Two Soldiers.

You can listen to samples from the album at the link above.

I agree - Cowboy Junkies rock! - fabulous stuff - although I must admit I'm a bit concerned that you've been listening to the same album on repeat for six months. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.

=)
