Curse of The Thunderbird Photo
This latest video by Hammerson Peters opens up some possible parallels between "probable pasts" and the Mandela Effect in regards to famous photograph that no one can find any record of - but many remember seeing.
The whole crypto subject of giant birds, Pterandons and Thunderbirds is fascinating in itself. But what Hammerson concentrates on here is a specific photo from Tombstone AZ in the late 19th century that was apparently published in a local newspaper (or a drawing of it) and the number of well-known researchers who all claimed to have seen it, or had a copy of it. Yet there's no record of it anywhere. John Keel and Ivan Sanderson are both featured in their memories of the photo (or false memories of it) and Hammerson interviewed Sanderson's field research associates who were still living in the 2000's. A fascinating story - regardless of the actual bird - that focuses on the ephemeral nature of Fortean research that seems to plague everyone involved.
