There is a thread on Oxalates for us humans, and here are a few Oxalate articles related to dogs - focused on bladder stones as a result of calcium oxalate buildup (which can be serious). Others more in the know with experience may add to this as they may have better articles or lists (please).

From part of an 'avoid' list in one article, the following were included (right or wrong):

  • Ingredients to avoid, that contain moderate to high levels of calcium or oxalates, include: nuts, soy, wheat, bran, beans, beets, spinach, buckwheat, carrots, kale, flax seed, sunflower seed, apples, liver, sardines, brown rice, corn starch, oatmeal and cornmeal

Liver surprised me (and sardines). Was talking to someone today and had misrepresented this as being the same for humans, which it is not according to separate lists. So not sure about that finding for dogs either - the articles seem also to be overly focused on manufactured diets, canned especially because of the water intake (water being the key to reducing concentrations).
