Earth’s climate over the last 485 million years

A new article about climate appeared on the WAPO on September 19, showing the Earth have been much, much hotter in the past. And it was a past without humans to influence the climate. So they debunk their own lies now? Incredible.

The timeline, published Thursday in the journal Science, is the most rigorous reconstruction of Earth’s past temperatures ever produced, the authors say. Created by combining more than 150,000 pieces of fossil evidence with state-of-the-art climate models, it shows the intimate link between carbon dioxide and global temperatures and reveals that the world was in a much warmer state for most of the history of complex animal life.

At its hottest, the study suggests, the Earth’s average temperature reached 96.8 degrees Fahrenheit (36 degrees Celsius) — far higher than the historic 58.96 F (14.98 C) the planet hit last year.

It also shows that we are actually living in the coldest era in those 485 Million years. And quite pronounced. Due to the large scale of this timeline bigger and stronger spikes up or down probably disappear.

It is also worth mentioning, if those are average temperatures: the difference between, let’s say, our era, and pretty much any warmer era before that, is quite dramatically different.

WAPO is behind a paywall for me, so I scanned a few sites to see how they spun this new information. Total gaslighting. They infer that this backs up their climate theories. Looks like these science sites had 'approved' articles all ready to go.
