Electrical sensations all over

Apologies if this isn't in the appropriate section of the forum, but I wasn't sure where to put this exactly and I thought it might be related enough to the section here that it might fit. I was uncertain about even posting this as it seems ridiculous to try to explain it, but after the C's recent comments about sharing troubles I feel compelled to open up even a little bit as I have no one else I could even begin to turn to.

Ok, well after that premise I'll get to the problem itself. This past day or so and at times in the past I've experienced all kinds of weird sensations throughout my body and it's gotten to the point where it's getting overwhelming, I'm not sure what's going on but it's unpleasant and painful and makes it difficult to relax. I feel stressed and fear going to sleep, it's torturous to sum it up in a word and I'm not sure what to do. I can only imagine it's some kind of 4D STS interference but that's about as close as I think I can get to it without inviting ideas of persecutory grandiosity, so there it is.

There is a lot more to say about many things I feel, but I'll try not to overly-curate my thoughts here and keep it all in one go. Upon reflecting for a moment I think the real issue is mainly one of sharing more down-to-earth life troubles/experiences but as stated earlier I really have no one I can talk to about anything. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Essential's, with the adaption of a changing FRV, (frequency resonance vibration). Keep posting, it helps as well, IMHO.

Hi Lathyrus! I think at first you may have some tries to define/elaborate these feelings in your mind, for yourself. It can be useful to try to find the analogy for your feelings that are seem to be new for you. Then you can remember if it could happen in your past. Or you can observe what exactly cause these feelings because of causality's existence. I mean that you could change something (recently or long ago) in your environment, in your relations/behavior, in your diet and lifestyle. But to check all of these you should disconnect your imagination:-)

Yes, please elaborate if you don't mind. And how is your diet and EMF environment? When you say electrical sensations, I think of something like chills down your spine or hair standing on end, which I sometimes get when having mental insights.

Lathyrus, I am reading your post with special interest because I have had electrical sensations going on for 30 years now. It began when I first started to meditate and study with a passion all things related to a spiritual path and commitment. At first, the sensations were strong and uncomfortable. Others who I am close to or touch have felt it coming from me, as well. I thought it might be kundalini or something as it was not a result of a medical issue. Over the years, It has evened out in intensity and now I only feel it consistently when holding crystals, giving Reiki and even when there is an electrical storm. I don't know what it is but I do not fear it. I have never felt it as negative either, but just part of sensitivity and my make up.

However, you have not really described what you are feeling in depth so it may not be the same for you and something altogether different. There are some medical issues that present with tingling and so on. My experience is mine but if you relate to anything I have described then it may help to know someone else experienced something similar.

I don't know if any of this helps, but about 2014 I started to get a shudder or tic sensation like when you get a twitch in your eyelid, but it was in my solar plexus. It wasn't uncomfortable -in fact it was quite pleasant. I could notice it at times during the day, but I mainly noticed it when I went to bed. I couldn't see it or feel it if I put my hand on the area, but I could feel it internally.

Since then that sensation has increased and intensified and radiating out from the solar plexus both down into my legs and up higher into my chest and it's now like hot rolling pins and needles and it sometimes seems to squeeze my lower rib cage making it harder to breath. I can reduce the intensity by standing and walking. I've recently found out that I have a broken lumbar vertebrae that has slipped out of position by between 25 and 50% of it's width and compressing nerve roots and that it's probably been slipping out of position for a number of years. I've raised this symptom with a number of specialists with no real answer to it yet, though I wonder if it's referred nerve reaction to the compression of the nerve roots in my lumbar spine.

I've noticed for many years that I'm not comfortable sitting for long - even if I'm reading. I usually get my reading done in 15 - 20 minutes spurts broken up by getting up and doing another task or having a smoke and I used to describe it as my body starting to feel stale if I don't get up and move regularly. If sitting for long periods of time, I usually need to juggle position frequently as much as I can given the task I'm engaged in or my back can start to hurt and my legs go numb and achy.

I had ignored most of these symptoms for various reasons - one being growing up with two people who had back problems and the general idea that once you've hurt your back it's rarely the same again. One of those was my sister who is paraplegic after an accident and is quite a model for overcoming adversity, so I used to hold her in mind and ask myself what do I really have to complain about - so I pushed myself when I probably should have been seeking medical advice.

I believe that there are also a number of illnesses that can have pins and needles as a symptom - if that at all describes what you're feeling. So I think that maybe a trip to the doctor to have it checked out might be called for.

Hello all, there's a lot to respond to but I will try to answer your questions and address everything. This may end up being a long post so please bear with me a moment.

Yes, please elaborate if you don't mind. And how is your diet and EMF environment? When you say electrical sensations, I think of something like chills down your spine or hair standing on end, which I sometimes get when having mental insights.
So far as diet's concerned, I've been working lately on getting more protein in the form of no-antibiotic ham & beef. Other items include non-gmo greek yogurt (with fruit), bacon, cheese, and eggs on occasion. Some standalone fruits on occasion but not many, intermittent vegetables including organic broccoli and cauliflower. My worst offenders are probably milk and instant ramen, a good amount of the former mainly because it's quick and easy but I am looking to remedy this somewhat by trying out an organic variety, so hopefully that'll be an improvement somewhat. Not much fish unfortunately, and I probably do eat a little more chocolate than I "need" but I do try to go for a dark variety usually. Water is the beverage of choice, no colas, alcohol or anything else to speak of.

EMF exposure is about as good as I can get it to be. My computer uses all wired connections for the mouse, keyboard, and internet, and my phone is turned off most of the time. Anything more than that is out of my hands.

I don't know if any of this helps, but about 2014 I started to get a shudder or tic sensation like when you get a twitch in your eyelid, but it was in my solar plexus. Wow, that definitely sounds unpleasant, and I'm sorry to hear about your sister as well. Any ideas on what they can do for that kind of thing?

I think I know what you mean about the twitch in the eyelid, like a little localized muscular twitch? From a young age I've been getting twitches like that in specific, random locations in the muscles all over my body, like just one specific spot at a time and sometimes repeatedly. It can be quite annoying but usually goes away shortly. There don't seem to be any other noticeable negative effects associated with it, but I'll have to keep an eye out for anything more serious now that you've mentioned the possibility.

Lately I have been tending to pinch the nerves in my legs whilst sitting, leading to the characteristic "pins and needles" in my legs and feet but no where else to speak of. I've since gotten myself a seating situation rigged up that's tended to alleviate these symptoms, and so far nothing much else has come up on that front.

I am glad that you've brought up the medical angle since I do have some input on that. Since 2015 or so I've made several medical visits about this and some unrelated symptoms that have yielded no conclusive answers thus far; all the test results look "normal", from brain to heart to nerve function. I've tried describing these sensations to the doctors I've seen but to no avail, they haven't had many answers. I can't think of describing it as anything else than a powerful malevolent force pressing down upon my body, it's like my brain and nervous system are being stressed or zapped at a low rate continually. The term "jamming", as in like electrical jamming, comes to my mind as a decent description. It interrupts any stillness of mind I might have and makes it hard to really relax, as mentioned in my opening post.

I've also had similar electrical sensations beginning with my own spiritual awakening more recently. As you describe JeanneT, I wouldn't think of these as being negative in any sense, even if at times it is strong or a little uncomfortable. The problem I'm experiencing is one of a strikingly negative character, insistent and unrelenting, and I've tried to put it into words in the paragraph above. I hope you'll excuse my briefness, I'm just at wit's end to describe it, I feel.

I get that as well but a regular exercise regimes help to keep this issue at bay.

Plus if you have the option, wakling (within a safe and natural setting away from any cell reception), and running has shown to have grounding effects. Good Luck!

I will have to keep this in mind. I do walk on occasion, though living in a suburban area makes the cell reception issue a bit unavoidable I fear. Anyway, thank you c.a.

Hi Lathyrus,

I'm trying to make sense of what you said is going on with you:

- electrical sensations all over / weird sensations throughout body / "it's like my brain and nervous system are being stressed or zapped at a low rate continually. The term "jamming", as in like electrical jamming".
- it's gotten to the point where it's getting overwhelming

- makes it difficult to relax
- interrupts any stillness of mind
- feel stressed

- it's unpleasant and painful
- fear going to sleep
- strikingly negative character, insistent and unrelenting
- powerful malevolent force pressing down upon your body
- it's torturous

Some of it, like unpleasant, stressed and difficult to relax, doesn't seem all that uncommon or troublesome. But other things like fear of going to sleep, painful, overwhelming, insistent and unrelenting, powerful malevolent force and torturous really caught my attention.

I have never experienced something I would call an electrical jamming, but I can relate to the way you describe its effects on you. I'm working on a post telling the whole story, which is proving difficult and painful in itself, but in a nutshell I'm reasonably convinced I was one of the covertly antagonistic members mentioned in the sessions from a few years back. I might be reading too much into your description or just projecting but you can take a look at those sessions to see if it rings a bell (Session 21 March 2015 and Session 16 July 2016, particularly about negative thoughts and the STS feeding tube). In terms of what I felt on my body it was mostly a ridiculous amount of negativity and pressure, as if there was a overwhelmingly heavy blanket of darkness on top of me, with some boulders on top just to make sure. Instead of jamming or zapped, I felt psychologically attacked and drained. It eventually became really torturous. At the same time that I wanted to sleep and rest I dreaded going to bed, I stayed awake for as long as possible hoping to just collapse from exhaustion.

I hope that what you're going through is not just a variation of the same process and, even if it is, that you'll have an easier way out of the problem, which I think you will, because you already did what I did not and came here for help, but in any case I would like to point out some things that might be useful to you:

- Notice what thoughts are going through your head while experiencing or around the time of the jamming. Not what you wish to think about, but what actually is going through your head even if you don't want it. Pay attention to its content, it might give you a glimpse of the source of the problem.
- Notice the emotions you feel while experiencing the jamming or around its arising. From your description they are clearly negative, but you might be able to get more precise in this observation and identify specific emotions that are coming up. It is more likely than not that your thoughts and emotions will reflect one another, so you can try to observe them both and how they relate.
- Look for specific triggers that make the jamming appear. It could be anything, a particular person, a behavior, a recurring life situation, a recurring emotion or set of thoughts etc.
- Look for changes you might have made in your life or that have happened to you that might relate to what you're going through now.
- It might not be just one thing that causes it, but a mosaic of things that together lead to the problem.
- Keep notes or a journal of what's going on with you, it can help you connect the dots.
- Remember that we are more resilient than we usually think. You have noticed a problem and you're working towards its solution.

You say it is difficult to describe it, you feel it. You can try writing about it a little at a time. Even if it doesn't make much sense in the beginning, you can just put on paper whatever is occurring to you, the ideas and feelings that naturally relate to what you're going through. Over time it tends to get more coherent and clear.

I hope there is something in the above to help you find a fruitful path out of your predicament.

Just wondering, Lathyrus, if any of these visits were to a doctor who practices orthomolecular medicine? There are whole sets of symptoms and nutritional/vitamin deficiencies that a good orthomolecular doctor will be on the look out for - that a strictly allopathic physician will not.

And have you ever undergone any heavy metal chelation or detoxification regimens? DMSA, EDTA, Vit C, etc? This would be something to consider too, I think, given how toxified our bodies are, and how decent health rests on being fairly detoxified.

A lot about these sorts of approaches can be found on the forum, and it's likely that a lot of your symptoms may fall away as a result of just boosting your health in a holistic way.
