Elon Musk: Tech Genius! Green Warrior! Biz King! Good Oligarch?

There is a controversy about it because the people who don't like Musk are making a controversy about it.
He is a well-known and well-studied person, so:

- Does he have any history of sympathy for that World War II movement?

- Has he been seen making that salute on any other occasion?

If the answer to these two questions is no, then it is something fortuitous and unfortunate on his part (very unfortunate).

If any of those questions are answered with a yes, I would not be so sure of him.

Well goodness, it never occurred to me this could actually happen but I suppose it could! I've always said that people never stop surprising me with the crazy and bizarre things they do sometimes. In the world of Wile E Coyote (an old cartoon) these people would find themselves shot off to Mars.

We've entered the times of Hyper-novelty, the unexpected and strange will occur (Clif High).

I brought The Babylon Bee initially to the forum some years ago by the way.

thank you for the baby bee, i enjoy it very much. and there is always truth in satire.

I thought it was pretty cool, I even clapped when the Super Heavy Booster was caught back. It feels like finally someone had the guts and resources to advance our technology into new territories. Regardless of what we think about Musk, this is a great achievement.

Now, reflecting on this, I think it is going in the "wrong" direction. Because what it is happening here is that we are creating finer and more technologically advanced versions of a car in preparation for transatlantic travel. It is obvious that an airplane is way more suited for that task.

And so, in the same way, if we are thinking about higher tech, then anti-gravity is a way more suited method for space travel. And anti-gravity is not an obscure topic among technologists nor its research is only restricted to the Consortium or Russian secret programs.

But Musk is not going in that direction, he's going for fuel-consuming engines and rockets that can handle high temperature combustion. And the funny thing is that he does not believe in "aliens", or at least he says he doesn't believe in them. But if he did, then betting on anti-gravity would have been a better investment (and here I am assuming he is not doing anything in that regard).

So maybe that is why he is "allowed" to move forward with his plans, at least when it comes to space exploration.
excellent observation. you go nowhere with chemical propulsion, and whats the point in going to mars?? musk should read the cass, which are of true value, and they are the reason we are on this forum.

When I saw the new vehicle, the first thing that came to my mind was: They took a toaster with artdeco aesthetics and put wheels on it.
And then the rocket and the claws... what can I comment? All that engineering effort is not going to get you to Mars. There are people in the world who have the secret of antigravity and UFT under seven keys, and we are amazed by this?
exactly. why do you think is all the fuss about ufos, disclosure, and the constant dodging by military??

Me too and I'm just a part time emergency services worker, love my job at the brigade level but the higher you go the worse it gets.
Don't understand the Musk worship, his cars aren't that good. One of them caught fire on the highway last September, I wasn't there but my crew was. It was shooting flaming battery cells everywhere and crews were hiding behind fire trucks to avoid the high velocity projectiles! Eventually the fireworks subsided and the fire could be extinguished. Much video was recorded and uploaded to social media..... then taken down!

Our captain confirmed the cover up which means most firefighters are unaware of the problem now.

as regards the tesla ev fire, it is interesting that the videos were suppressed. please visit the thread on ev fires.

Sorry if I made noise. I stand chastised.

It's not about chastising, but about reminding how important it is to practice and exercise discernment. By running with your initial "blink" and the media narrative on this subject you are basically training your brain in the wrong direction, i.e. non-discernment, non-critical thinking. That predisposes your brain to react in that way. If in the future there's an event that has direct implications or you, or the safety of you or your family, you'd be more likely to respond in the same way, which can imply serious consequences.

So it's not a joke.

Hi, yes I should do and will, thanks. Here's the video regarding analysis of the fire, (a world first!) my captain was at the conference too and confirmed the coverup of the exploding battery pack videos that were posted online. I've also met the dad of the son who's friends with the bloke who lost the tail shaft that punctured the battery case. Small world!

Thank you for explaining and highlighting the seriousness of it. I also ran with an initial blink of just one clip. In hindsight, there was also "something is wrong with this clip and narrative". I ignored it.
Now I shockingly understand, how serious the implications are for the brain and life at any given moment, what this lack of discipline in practicing discernment/critical thinking does to the brain and decision making. Thank you again.

Anybody watching the video of Musk flinging his arm out from his heart, knows that was exactly what he was doing... making a heartfelt gesture, NOT a 'Nazi salute'. You only get the 'Nazi salute' if you take a photo, a frozen frame of the whole gesture. It's like the way MSM distorts news, as in the meme below:

It's obvious.

Wasn't the Covid lie also obvious?

Well, only a few saw it.
