Weird how I found this gem by accident: maybe the director read the Sessions?*
Couldn't detect any Anti-Life Elements, so its safe to watch. No stress. No sex scenes. Highly entertaining! This could be a TV/video version of the Romance Book Project. Except Éternelle is a very light romantic & mystical entertainment, so its perfect if you are totally exhausted physically and mentally! :)
You may notice the cast is very photogenic.. :)
Also the first episode of this mini-series at videotime 31:00 took me by surprise, how expertly the director weaved into the story David Paulides's Missing 411 phenomenon!! See previous posts before this link as well.. Very nice move, especially considering the mystical part of this show & possibilities lying therein!
An important element in Éternelle is that the central theme connects to the mystical topics here and to the anticipation of the arrival of certain Nordic ambassador - some of us here would like to speak to! :)
After watching many Korean, Japanese and Chinese TV Shows, watching this Show's French cast's faces up close [how director Didier Delaître likes to show the stars] is like having arrived onto a different planet regards human facial anthropology..
*There was ongoing an important meme in Hollywood some 20+ years ago [lots of movies of this type were coming out then] and I like the more "militant" movies from that era [see above list], but there were some excellent romantic comedies carrying this meme as well! TV Shows like Supernatural deal with this meme in depth and other excellent mystical series do as well.
Movies carrying this meme have one common element. Any ambassador of this type always has: baby skin, perfect teeth, pristine physical state [female condition intact], no aging, and of course increased physical strength in the more action oriented shows and more ESP in the romance oriented shows like this one!
Mixes perfectly with the Nordic Ambassador theme.
The first episode is highly enjoyable. Recommended. Disregard the IMDB rating. :D
