Foam and other changes in waters

Hey all..

I was just reading these stories today on sott

US: Mysterious foam creeps ashore at Madrona Beach
Turkey: Mysterious green layer on lake not toxic, says minister

Though the two might not be related at all - or at least seemingly, i don't trust ministers - i remembered that there were cases in the past of "foamy" waters. Mysterious foam in water was reported from Italy and Australia. It was also the case, early July, about the greenish foamy Israeli lake.

Curious enough, during my search for foam on sott, a comet series article came up Meteorites, Asteroids, and Comets: Damages, Disasters, Injuries, Deaths, and Very Close Calls

In addition to these shipboard fatalities, there have been several striking accounts of near disasters involving impacts very close to ships. Near midnight of 24 February 1885, at a latitude of 37 degrees N and a longitude of 170 degrees 15 minutes E in the North Pacific, the crew of the barque Innerwich, en route from Japan to Vancouver, saw the sky turn fiery red: "A large mass of fire appeared over the vessel, completely blinding the spectators; and, as it fell into the sea some 50 yards to leeward, it caused a hissing sound, which was heard above the blast, and made the vessel quiver from stem to stem. Hardly had this disappeared, when a lowering mass of white foam was seen rapidly approaching the vessel. The noise from the advancing volume of water is described as deafening. The barque was struck flat aback; but, before there was time to touch a brace, the sails had filled again, and the roaring white sea had passed ahead."

It might as well be environmental pollution or fauna doing it's job, causing these "mysteries", but from the above linking foamy waters to impacts, and the article about the Israeli lake, where

.... an unidentified weed that appeared in the lake

....the foam was coming from new weeds that had taken hold in the water. However, it was the first time the weeds, which created the foam and gave the water an olive green color, had been noticed in the Kinneret and the experts could not identify their exact scientific nature.

....the reason for the weeds' appearance is not clear. "The conditions were apparently suitable but what exactly these conditions are, we don't yet know because we are not familiar with this species and its biology."

But only a few days after they appeared, and even before the researchers had succeeded in classifying them or giving them a scientific name, the strange weeds disappeared from the shores of the lake, leaving behind only the mysterious and worrisome, greenish, foamy patches.

i begun wondering - and might be wandering in wrong tracks here  - whether space junk fell into the Israeli lake and life on it caused the appearance of the weed and changes in the lake, and whether "foam in water" or other changes in lakes, oceans, etc, can be indications of impacts in water sources.

Your throughts? :grad:

Hmm..this is actually very interesting. But in this specific case of Kinneret lake (which can be different from other 'foam' stories, of course), the lake is pretty small, so even a minor impact couldn't happen unnoticed. But  considering that those 'strange foam' stories happened all around the world, maybe there is something in the atmosphere - an organic residue of some kind or something that facilitates bacterial growth. It could be as a result of localized overhead explosion, but it also could be due to planet’s movement through comet dust cloud.

Could be interesting to get hold on laboratory reports or findings and see if there is any similarity of foam components in all of those cases.

That's an important piece of information Keit, thanks.

That's an interesting thought as well. Perhaps all kinds of alien particles are everywhere on the earth due to dust. Apart from biowarfare  some of newfound diseases could be the result of such. Like other times of cometary impacts and plaque, as reported in Comet Series editorials.

Could be interesting to get hold on laboratory reports or findings and see if there is any similarity of foam components in all of those cases.

"The source of the foam is the nearby Welby Canal, which is connected to the Jordan River, which is connected to Utah Lake. The same lake that has recently been troubled by toxic algae."

A river in Spain has turned a deep luminous green over night. The Mayor was forced to issue a statement, due to resident's fears. He passed the color change off, as being a harmless, non-toxic and bio-degradable dye for research? If this was "a planned event" - why not inform the residents near the river, to avoid any misunderstanding and distress? Also another report of green water, last month, in the Black Sea near the city of Sevastopol.

RESIDENTS of a town near Spain’s Valira river were left in shock after the water unexpectedly turned a vivid shade of green.

The bizarre sight left residents baffled and sparked fears of poisoning.

The river, which passes through Andorra and Catalonia, was the cause of last year’s gastroenteritis outbreak in the area.

Such was the unease caused by the green water, the Mayor of Seu d’Urgell was forced to issue a statement clarifying the cause.

Mayor Albert Batalla said: “It is a harmless, non-toxic and bio-degradable dye that has been used for water research”.

A statement released by the Andorran government added: “It is an action that has no impact beyond the visual.”

The dye was added to the water by Spain’s Ministry of Health as part of efforts to find the source of last year’s water pollution that left hundreds of people unwell.

The research is set to continue for a further eight weeks, although no more dye is expected to be used.

The outbreak, in early 2016, forced the closure of the Arinsal water bottling plant after it emerged the spring was contaminated with norovirus.

The closure meant more than 120,000 bottles had to be withdrawn from circulation by supplier Aigües del Pirineu.

Another report on Sun, Feb 12, 2017 in the Black Sea, near the city of Sevastopol in south-western Crimean, of luminous green water.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/766304/black-sea-waters-turn-bright-green

The waters in the area of the Omega Bay near the city of Sevastopol in south-western Crimean Peninsula changed its colour to the vivid green hue for reasons unknown.

Some reports that circulating locally said that the water changed colour after an unknown man threw a plastic bag containing some unidentified liquid into the water.

The bright green stain quickly spread in size and the colour but it is not understood why it remains so clearly defined on the sea bed.

Local officials have confirmed that it is not the first time water has changed its colour to this psychedelic green in the past few weeks.

A Russian health watchdog is investigating but has so far reached no conclusions.

Jack Kruse has an article where he mentions that the blue color of the seas indicate the lack of oxygen, so there's no life in those waters. On the contrary, a green hue shows the presence of oxygen.

How the Macrocosm of Space Meets the Microcosm of the Planetary Field

All of these events have another evil twin called ocean stratification. This is even more important factor in nature that few seem to understand. Water chemistry is a huge factor in life. Moreover, it is tied directly to the last chapter in my book, The Epi-paleo Rx. We are losing one of our best defenses to mitigate excessive environmental non-native EMF, as seafood dwindles in our oceans. When sea water temperature rises for any environmental reason, oxygen diffuses out of it. When you temperature rises, oxygen diffuses out of your tissues too! These are natural chemical and physical laws of the universe people. Biology is not immune to these laws. Biologists just acts as is if they are. When oxygen drops in the ocean so do iron levels in sea water. When iron falls in you, so does your tissue oxygenation. You have much in common with Mother earth.

Iron levels in our ocean are have been measured and are dropping today. Iron is a element that is vital for life. In fact, every form of life on this planet uses it to some degree to make sense out of the random chaos of the chemistry of atoms that life orders together to make the beautiful musical composition that is life. For humans, metabolism requires iron in many tissues. The thyroid can not maintain energy balance with out it working in its proper context in a cell. iron carries oxygen to tissues in our cells via hemoglobin. We can measure hemoglobin and oxygen disassociation rates in medicine easily today. Do you know what happens to sea water when iron falls? It changes the color of sea water. A loss of iron, can paradoxically make the ocean water crystal blue clear and devoid of life. Any one who has seen the water around the tropics or the equator know the water there has always been really blue. It is not blue the further you get away from the equator. What else should you know about blue sea water and may not? The more blue sea water is, the less life it contains. The further north or south you go from the equator ocean water becomes green. When iron is present in abundance the water is green and filled with life.

What else do humans need iron for? Without iron our immune system crashes, we become dazed and confused, cold and very lethargic. Our metabolic rates can plummet. Neuro-immunity, it turns out, is tied to proper iron levels too! If you think iron does not have amazing properties, think about this geologic evolutionary trick that occurred since India crashed into Asia to form the Mount Everest and the Himalayas. Without the formation of the Mount Everest, there would be no Sahara desert. The Sahara desert dumps billions of gallons of iron dust into the oceans to stimulate the phytoplankton that supports the marine life of the North Atlantic by creating oxygen from sunlight in the photic zones in sea water. Moreover, this iron dust also allows the ocean to become a massive sump to generate massive plant growth like seaweeds in the ocean that can absorb massive quantities of CO2 out of the atmosphere to offset all the CO2 humans have been releasing into the air since the Industrial Revolution.

What Else Does Iron do for Life?

Iron protects the marine food supply from excessive man-made EMF by absorbing excessive EMFs just like it does in the core of a dying star. It is here where space physics should be instructive to us humans about our current healthcare plight.

When a star depletes all its hydrogen it begins to fuse heavy elements to make sunlight. As the core of the star changes its fuel source the spectral color of the star also changes its photoelectric effect in its light. In nature, a star explodes when it burns through all of its hydrogen and helium. It then progresses through nuclear fusion turning those gases in its core to other elements. It’s core produces energy from hydrogen fusion first, then helium, then carbon, then neon, then oxygen, then silicon, and it all ends in iron. Stars, like humans, also have a life cycle. Very few people see the fractal pattern of human life in a star’s life, but nature does. I think you might need to remember this too. It is going to be quite important as this series goes on.

Iron plays an important role in normal brain metabolism. It is a co-factor to enzymes involved in neurotransmitter synthesis and metabolism, and a component of cytochromes essential for energy production in mitochondria. However, iron reacts with oxygen, resulting in the production of neurotoxic free hydroxyl radicals responsible for membrane lipid peroxidation and accumulation of lipofuscin in neurons.

Why do you think iron accumulates in neurons when they are sick and dying? In a star, it accumulates iron as it becomes energy depleted and it begins to emit large amounts of EMF before it explodes.

Iron is stored in the ferritin protein that is present at higher concentrations in the basal ganglia. Excessive iron accumulation has been associated with various neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonian disorders, pantothenate kinase–associated neuro-degeneration, Alzheimer’s disease, aceruloplasminemia and different types of hereditary cerebellar ataxias, such as Friedreich ataxia.

Iron is not present at birth in neurons, and progressive iron deposition in different structures of the brain accompanies normal aging processes. In healthy adults, the maximum iron concentration is found in the globus pallidus (GP), the red nucleus and the pars reticulata of the substantia nigra (SN). In the dentate nucleus of the cerebellum and in the neostriatum, deposition is much slower slower. Iron levels are much higher in the gray matter than in the white matter (myelin), with a content ratio ranging from 2:1 to 4:1.

I remember the C's comment when asked about Galatea's high iron level, that her organism needed extra protection at that time.

It is good to see patterns repeating - this generally confirms validity of theory and practice.

A Canadian town has apologized after a water treatment plant turned the water supply pink.

Canadian town sorry for pink tap water
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39201090

7 March 2017 - Residents of Onoway, Alberta, complained to the town office when taps began running pink water on Monday.

In a statement, Mayor Dale Krasnow said there was no public health risk but the town "could have done a better job communicating what was going on".

The mayor said it was the unfortunate side-effect of a common water-treatment chemical, potassium permanganate.

The chemical is commonly used to remove iron and hydrogen sulphide from water, and the town office said it got into the reservoir when a valve malfunctioned during "normal line flushing and filter backwashing".

"The reservoir was drained, however some of the chemical still made it into the distribution system.

"While it is alarming to see pink water coming from your taps, potassium permanganate is used in normal treatment processes to help remove iron and manganese and residents were never at risk."

The chemical can cause skin irritation, according to the World Health Organization, but there were no reports of any adverse effects.

Complaints were more about being kept in the dark - residents said they were annoyed they were not told why the water was fluorescent pink until Tuesday morning.

"This is a situation we can certainly learn from and develop a strategy for better response and communication should we ever face the same or similar situation in the future," the mayor said.

A salt lake in Westgate Park, just off the Yarra River and Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne's center, Australia has turned a brilliant, bright pink a few days ago, delighting locals.

https://watchers.news/2017/03/09/lake-turns-pink-australia/

March 09, 2017 - Parks Victoria said this is a natural phenomenon in response to very high salt levels, high temperatures, sunlight and lack of rainfall.

Algae growing in the salt crust at the bottom of the lake produces the red pigment (beta carotene) as part of its photosynthesis process and in response to the extremely high salt levels.

"Enjoy the views, but we recommend you don’t come into contact with the water," they said on March 7, 2017.

The lake is expected to return to its normal color towards winter, when the weather cools and rainfall increases.

Westgate Park's lake has turned pink several times in recent years, including in 2014 and 2015.
