FrankM4326754's Poetry

Jedi Master
Sometimes I look up to the sky
Stare angels in the face and ask them all why
Rain is the only response I receive
Like tears from Heaven I am forced to believe
The emotions concealed are struck like lightning
It burns through the heart and in all cases striking
It throws off the beat of the heart's pulse
Much like the love I found out was false
The pain is constructed and built inside
With no way out and nowhere to hide
I'm out in the open and no have not cried
But something inside of me has definitely died

Alchemy - Short Poem

Alchemy

The soul uncontrollably weeps in despair
Information abundant waving through air
Antenna undeveloped and unprepared
To hone great truths, hidden but shared.

How does one know when solace is reached?
Will the mind expand so that it cannot be breached?
An eternal illumination, can it be impeached?

If you grow you will know said the teacher to their teached.

Re: Alchemy - Short Poem

Actually better than nice! Inspiring, especially for one who looks so young, if your avatar is you.

It makes me want to give back. So here is a gift back to you. something I did when I was in my early 20's that is kind of in the same ballpark.

The infinitely accelerating mind and the twitching brain exist,
But one is a concept, and one a chemical feeling thing,
And the truth lies
Breathtakingly in between.

Foolish knowledge at my throat is lapping
As I seek security in the sound of my laughing.
There never was a wise old man
Who was not also a young fool.

So when it’s time for dying, don’t be crying;
Nothing else could be more naturale.
Don’t be surprised to see the sky unfolding
While the earth trembles and the ocean burns.

It’s just God’s way of telling you
To think your final thoughts
For the end of eternity
Is here at last.

Nice, thanks for sharing.

My avatar is me, though from years ago, not exactly sure how many years ago. Perhaps 7 or 8.

Love the expressions and impressions poetry delivers.

Many Called Few Chosen - Short Poem

To be all of one and one of all
Is to those who serve others,
A dynamic call.
To those who serve self,
A blackhole fall.

Unbound and sound makes one free,
Bound and unsound creates cosmic atrophy.

To know and then decide,
Shall be ones guide.

To unite and rise, never divide
Or to serve ones own insatiable appetite
Feed the self but dismantle all light.

To be or not to be. Perhaps that was, is, and always will be the question.

All that is, appears to be fleeting.
A grip on illusion, whatever the meaning.
A battle with context, one finds revealing.
A step towards grace, a moment of freeing.

Mind, body and soul lifted to light,
Ongoing the cause of the noblest fight.
Uncertainty rampant and emotions pay toll,
For quest of the sound mind, body and soul.

The Beast of Burden

The dragon came forth and we all fled,
But one stood protected using their head.
Their knowledge too great for the dragon to defeat,
The gold to be gained lay square at their feet.

The hero enamored with newly formed skin,
All rose in honor and awe to begin.

The new book written, shipped and delivered,
Received by a people unknowing, bewildered.

The gold was shared and everyone won,
But they all held certain that it started with one.

The one of the fractal, all knowing, all wise,
The one that stood brave with unwavering eyes,
The one that answered all of their cries,
For freedom at last from deceit and from lies.

Re: The Beast of Burden

FrankM4326754, why don't you post your work in a single thread? Makes forum housekeeping easier. I've merged what I could see to this one thread.

Good point and thank you for merging those posts. I should have done that from the start.

Originally I was going to only have one or two poems to share but recently after listening to Jordan Peterson’s Maps of Meaning material it has sparked some inspiration leading to one or two more.

Thanks again for merging these and my apologies for not posting in a single thread from the start!
