Ground-elder (Aegopodium podagraria)

Disclaimer: I do not know the nutritional value of this plant, but my stomach seems to like it. And it is free :)

1. Pick a lot of Ground-elder (size decreases dramatically after cooking)
2. Pour boiling water on it at take it out of the water immediately
3. Fry (I prefer with olive oil) with garlic, salt and a squeeze of lemon
4. Serve with meat or fish, yummy!

It does taste best when the plant is young.

Thanks for posting this. I know this as bishop's weed, know it's edible but never tried it. Have you ever added bacon like you would collard greens or wilted lettuce?

Experimenting with quinoa, first time I tried it since Paleofest last October - almost a year! - the stew had also some carrots, onions, chopped cactus and some calabazas.
