I am a member of one of the groups that meet in Hollywood, FL. My question is: Can I get a positive nod from the Cassiopaeans regarding the sincerity and quality of the work done there? Should I trust? Thanks, and more thanks.

Great suggestion from cholas. I would encourage you to read that as well and finally after all the reading, you judge them by their fruits. We also recommend all new members to post an introduction in the Newbies section telling us a bit about themselves, and how they found their way here.
