Gyorgy Ligeti, the Hungarian composer passed away today. He ranks very high
in my musical book and if you are not familiar with his work, I recommend
delving into it with total abandon. Kubrick used his music in Space Odyssey
without his permission and never even gave Ligeti credit for it. However, once
word got out, the world wanted to know who this enigmatic composer was. Here's
