HOPE IN germany

Hello everyone

There is a growing peace movement in Germany that has a hard time being recognized due to the discrediting and denigrating by the main stream media. This weekend there was a political demonstration in front of the residence of federal president Gauk, answering his warmongering attitude. 4000 people joined the demonstration here in Berlin, old and young people, families with children, and there would have been more if the main stream media hadn't discredited it. Imagine this Gauk guy is a former priest, who speaks of responsibility when in fact he encourages the necessity of military intervention and NATO support: blessing the weapons, so to speak.

I was deeply touched by the speech of Eugen Drewerman, also a former priest, church critic and Jungian psycho therapist (author of many books) who demanded withdrawal from NATO, since it is the most aggressive war alliance in the history of menkind. „Thou shalt not kill“ was the motto of his speech. I was surprised to learn that my therapist knows him in person. I asked her about him because I had the strange feeling that there might be a connection. There was. She admires his work. Anyway I hope there will be English subtitles soon. It really brought tears to my eyes even now when I write about it. He is an old man and he speaks with so much feeling. He really is wounded by the terror of the world wars and by the insanity of the world today. For those of you who understand German here is the link to the speech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88xxWfegO_s

Right now there are quite a few journalists and politicians who withdraw from the US-imperialistic propaganda, who have lost there main stream credibility, sometimes even their jobs, and aren't taken seriously any more. They are labeled lunatics, conspiracy theorists, Putin fans, antisemits and what not. But there is a crowd-funded journalist in Germany who makes interviews of honest truthseekers like the historian Daniele Ganser, who explored the secret Nato army Gladio and the events of nine-eleven, all available on the www. I've talked to colleagues, friends, people I meet in bars and on parties about the state of affairs. And there are quite a few people who have a very critical point of view but still lack the courage to go onto the streets to fight for what they believe in. Many people behave like a scared sheep that stands in the middle of the street, when a truck approaches with blinding headlights. The sheep stands there like frozen, paralyzed, dissociated. I desperately hope, that more and more people are willing to peacefully counteract the will of the empire. JJ Abrams lets the force awaken in his new block buster Star Wars Episode VII. I hope this fantasy becomes reality and even sooner than the movie is released.

I just wanted to share my experience with you.

I also think that Germany plays a central role in this whole fabricated conflict with Russia. And it seems that public opinion there is much more critical towards NATO and the role of the U.S.

It seems that, at least in Germany, the propaganda of the press is recognized by more and more people due to the one-sided way of reporting about the Ukraine crisis. I actually think that this may be one more instance of seeing the "man behind the curtain". The press is already struggling financially and this year their credibility has sunk even lower.

A central piece of the puzzle in this has been exposed in comedy programs, as well as a dissertation which both examined the membership of top press functionaries in "transatlantic" organizations which promote the views of the U.S. and NATO.

Another thing is that Germany is one of the countries which has the most to lose by severing its ties to Russia - so in this case even business elites are to a large degree against the current policies.

Though maybe the first real change in Europe will come from France - if Le Pen succeeds in winning the presidential elections in about two years. Her party is already supportive of Russia and was the winner in the European elections in France.

I agree with you, forget-me-not and axj, that there's something going on here in Germany. I think we should be always aware though that there will be infiltration of various movements and some of today's "heroes" will turn out to be useful tools for the ptb at some point, as history shows again and again.

My wife and I have been to two "shows" recently, one by comedian Volker Pispers and one by singer/songwriter Konstantin Wecker. Both were really amazing and conveyed a lot of truth about the mainstream media, the corrupt politicians, the situation with Russia etc., and both were completely sold out far in advance! It's a good sign I think that those who speak up are getting the respect they deserve, despite (or because) the fact that they are ignored or ridiculed by the MSM.

As to taking the protest to the streets, I still don't know whether this is something worthwhile - on the one hand, it would be a clear statement and strengthen the "truth movement", on the other hand, I'm not sure if this would be a wise "energy investment" since such protests are so easily diverted and there are other ways of protesting, like sharing on the net, "being the change you want to see" in daily life, preparing for the times that surely will come regardless of street protests etc., what do you think?

Hello Friends in Deutschland,

I've actually had the Gladio video recently forwarded to me from my brother in law who's a career military man in the Canadian forces. It wasn't a shock to find out about this program, but at the same time it seemed so insidious and subtle that it added yet another dimension to the domination program that becomes more obvious every day.

I think that Germany is a focal point of resistance against NATO and the imperialist machinations of the west. There seems to me, to be a larger group of people in your country that are conscious of political movements and the repercussions. We seem to be asleep here in Canada.

It's great to see that people get on the street. But as Luc wrote things get also easily twisted or distorted. For example the FAZ wrote recently an article about this truth movement in Berlin (Jebsen, Elsässer) and made fun of it and twisted it. Beside the movement recently in Dresden and other cities, where people are frustrated cause of these many lies, but go on the street cause they are officially afraid of Islamist which then is food to say they are all on the right wing side. Though imo there is a twist going on and the positive site is, that many people seem to get aware but gets directed in to questionable directions and that with intent, which is unfortunate.

Traditionally Germans did not like to strike but in the last 10 years or so strikes were on the rise here - especially during the last few years (Bahnstreik, Pilotenstreik, ...).

The last 10 years or so there were also a lot of persons in demonstrations, who normally would never thought to do so. Quite a lot went to demonstrations because they were in danger to loose their jobs. I remember Siemens, NSN, Nokia, Karstadt, Schlecker, but there were many others over the years. Some of those keep their jobs, some became unemployed and others go into a Transfergesellschaft (outplacement company) for a while. Persons, who go through a process like this see a bit - at least for some time - about how things were run by the psychopathic leaders.

Germany still has some good labor protection laws compared with other countries. It is harder to lay someone off but you have to defense yourself and may have to go to court to get your right. Not everone will do this...

And we still have still have some social system left. So you may not actually starve here and have some roof over your head, which is more than you have in the US or many other countries. But you can reach the state to be dependent of Hartz 4 after 1 year of unemployment. This is quite short when you have to get adjusted to the idea that you are not working anymore, that were considered redundant by your employer, that times has changed about your chances in the market outside, that you will have to consider to work for much less than earlier, see some "friends" leave, mourn your job loss, struggle with a depression. And the longer you do not work anymore the more you will be frowned on by HR persons an potential employers.

Now we have these new movements like the peace movement mentioned by forget-me-not and these so-called anti-islamistic movements. And people go there because they feel it is time to do something not because they are against Muslim neighbors or against foreigners living here or extrem right.

Germany has since 1968 the right of resistance (article 20 section 4) in the Grundgesetz (Grundgesetz is the "temporary" ersatz of a constitution)

"(4) Gegen jeden, der es unternimmt, diese Ordnung zu beseitigen, haben alle Deutschen das Recht zum Widerstand, wenn andere Abhilfe nicht möglich ist."

"(4) All Germans have the right of resistance against anyone who takes steps to remove the [constitutional] order when other corrective is not possible."

This law would give us the right to kill someone, who acts like Hitler. That's quite unusual IMHO. And in the last 100 years we saw 2 instances when the money became bad (Hyperinflation 1923, monetary reform 1948), we had revolutions and revolts (in the twenties, 17. June 1953, 1989) and 2 police states (3. Reich, GDR) which broke down (1945, 1989). So some knowledge is still in the family or personal histories about the twists of our psychopathic world and how to deal with it. And we still remember the Monday Demonstrations and the "we are the people" ("Wir sind das Volk").

So leaders may have some good reason not to wake us up too much or get us distracted fast when we start doing something.

Hmm... But I think it is still a good thing to have a growing opposition, no matter how much it is ridiculed, especially if more and more prominent people like Konstantin Wecker, Eugen Drewermann and Wolfgang Gehrcke (Die Linken) join the movement. The conspiracy theorist movement is an obscure blending of right wing, left wing, putin fans, antisemits and nutcases, each with their own conspiracy theory. They menage to convince more and more celebrities (Tagesspiegel – Berlin) It makes you think: What the hell do these extremely dangerous factions have in common? What do they want? Peace? Now if that isn't a threat to our way of life, than I don't know what is?

There are other prominent people like the whistleblower Dr. Udo Ulfkotte, Ex FAZ-journalist, who wrote a Spiegel-best seller (famous and respected magazine) about the deeds and networks of corrupt journalists and he calls the names of prominent perpetrators and wishes to be sued, in order to provoke a public discussion. If the opposition is growing, doesn't that mean that more and more people go crazy in the eyes of the MSM? Doesn't that mean that more and more people start realizing that the slightest criticism leads to being labeled crazy, so that the „secure“ or „sane“ space in the thinking process becomes thinner and thinner to the point that it becomes more and more obvious, that thinking itself is crazy. I have the choice between naive little child that must be taken by the hand and grown up nutcase. It's absurd if you try to consequently talk mainstream, like „You know, it just isn't possible, that there are people in high places who have anything else in mind than our well being. That's paranoid. We are so lucky that only the most reasonable, altruistic, empathetic, the most wise and idealistic people are given power and responsibility. They can be trusted, especially in areas of profit maximization or in secret service, where all decisions are made in the dark behind closed doors. Especially there trust and human values are hold most dear. Do you really think that those who profit from the black gold or nuclear energy love to pollute our planet and have everyone being addicted to this resource like some drug dealer, who has only dollar signs in his eyes? They would love to give up there wealth if there was an alternative! And even those in the military industrial complex would love to quit their job in exchange for peace, but then... there are these Russians, and all those other enemies of freedom. You name it! They are not like us. Don't talk to them. Don't try to understand them... if we have learned one thing from all those terrible wars and conflicts in the past, than it is this: talking and negotiating with your neighbours doesn't solve any problems, it's no use... bla, bla, bla“ What happens if there are more insane people than sane in this country? I'm curious.

But you are probably right. It's better to not expect too much. There is an interview with Eugen Drewermann short after the speech, quite down to earth. He is asked exactly the same question, if the fact that the movement is growing gives him hope? Here is his answer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sugXUF1canE

:) Here is interview and speech of Eugen Drewermann with English Subtitles: worth a read/listen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dt-PumMVYiA&feature=youtu.be

I was reading in a mexican magazine "Proceso" something about Germany, a movement called PEGIDA, that -in short-even though is form of white nationalist/nazis against imigration muslim policies, other no so extremists people are joining too, from left to right and in between. Went to find if there might be a correlation between Eugen Drewermann and PEGIDA, found this site: _https://propagandaschau.wordpress.com/2014/12/14/friedenswinter-lugen-und-diffamierungen-gegen-friedensdemonstranten/ I was not able to google translate the whole link, for some reason after "loading" it redirected to youtube site, so I ended up getting the translation by copy pasting paragraphs, it says something similar to what Gawan wrote.

I do not know much if any about german politics, it was just a hint? Just want to know what do you think about the propaganda link above?

Thanks for sharing the video forget-me-not! What an inspiring man... :v:

Agreed. A man speaking from his heart. it was beautiful. No wonder he has to be so careful about who is allowed to contact him.

Also agree, watched this last night and was amazed at his memorized passion of thoughts, thoughts that were so well put to the people listening.

Don't know where to place this, but since Ulfkotte was mentioned in this thread and since he was insightful about the role the ptb have on the medias, then this is just to say that he moved on http://www.spiegel.de/kultur/literatur/udo-ulfkotte-umstrittener-publizist-und-ehemaliger-faz-journalist-ist-tot-a-1130008.html

I'd also heard this on (mainstream) radio this afternoon. They reported, that Ulfkotte had died from a heart attack. As he played a critical role in exposing the link between the media and the PTB, my first thought was if the heart attack was orchestrated since he only got 56 years old. It also made me think of the death of Hugo Chavez, which was likely induced by a CIA weapon.

But he could also just have decided on a deeper level, that it was time to move on.

Ulfkotte admitted that he was payed by the CIA while working as FAZ [large German news outlet] editor years ago.

Edit: Clarity

I want to add, that Ulfkotte also supported anti Islam sentiment in Germany very strongly. He was especially supported by the anti Islam and anti migrant oriented KOPP publishing house, like this indicates: _http://info.kopp-verlag.de/suche.html;jsessionid=8A74FBEBA7E5179020F4E8A4FF4CB24B?pn=1

Just the following few headline translations of his articles should give you a picture:

"Germany's Future: Tanks and soldiers for protection against migrant gangs everywhere?" [Which is also a book review]
