Crazy Storm Weather and Lightning - Global

Another video of the storm that hit Corsica, but this was taken by cctv on the coast of Italy. About half way into the video you get an up close view of just how wild it got - it's best to follow the link and watch it in big screen on FB:

Amazing storm yesterday morning in Italy on the Ligurian coast, in Sestri Levante. Destructive downbursts that could be estimated > 150km/h, giving an idea of what happened more or less at the same time in Corsica.

Satellite charts

I retrieved the satellite charts from the Corsica event in the morning of 18 Aug 2022. These thunderstorm clusters were of very powerful, explosive nature, as well had a high speed, crossing over Corsica, and railing against the coast of Italy.

The time stamp is shown in normal UTC time without summer time, i assume

This event was from August 18th and was more of a flash flood/mudslide occurrence as reported on SOTT and shown in the accompanying videos.

That TicToc video does not resemble anything in the above report/videos, imo.

This event had not been reported in this thread since August 18 so I thought it appropriate to include it. Now, I didn't know this video was from a past flood, however if there are recent reports of floods.
