May I suggest...

Quote from Laura:
For now, what needs to be done is to 1) get EE out there to ameliorate the suffering on the planet which can possibly change the vector of the transition; 2) teach EE and form EE groups from which FOTCM membership will grow; 3) Help us raise funds by direct contributions, increasing our membership, helping to promote EE so that everybody who can afford it will buy the DVDs.

This got me thinking of ways to get the word out about EE and Laura's books, how to get more eyes exposed to the material. With Laura, Ark, the Mods and major contributors already busy working on the big projects, what small and fairly quick Creative Acts could the average forum member with limited resources pull off that could have a major impact?

As a former business leader and interactive media Producer it was my job to spark brainstorming and facilitate the development of creative solutions. So for my small part and project I am creating this thread topic and will help facilitate its ongoing development (if of course others believe it to be a worthy forum endeavor and is approved by management).

After going to the cassiopaeaorg's Channel on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/user/cassiopaeaorg ) I noticed that the combined total views of all the videos was around 35,500 views. This most likely represents a lot less than half this amount (~17,000) as unique viewers (individual fans of the material most likely watching several videos). Yet some video subjects have individual videos with 10's of thousands, 100's of thousand, and millions of views.

Goal: Double the current viewer impressions with grassroots advertising to channel new viewers to the material by targeting high viewer video search tags.

Projected goal numbers in order to double the current views and new unique viewer impressions...

The Dedicated:
3 people 2 videos each a month = 72 a year
7 people 1 video each a month = 84 a year
15 people 1 each every other month = 90 a year

The Interested:
10 people 3 videos each a year = 30 a year
10 people 2 videos each a year = 20 a year

The Quirks:
20 people 1 video each a year = 20 a year
___________
65 people creating a total of = 316 videos in a year

30% of 316 vids with 10 avg views = 948 views
20% of 316 vids with 50 avg views = 3,160 views
20% of 316 vids with 100 avg views = 6,320 views
15% of 316 vids with 250 avg views = 11,850 views
10% of 316 vids with 500 avg views = 15,800 views
3% of 316 vids with 1000 avg views = 9,480 views
1% of 316 vids with 2500 avg views = 7,900 views
1% of 316 vids with 5000 avg views = 15,800 views
___________
100% of 316 videos creating a total of 71,258 views a year

These numbers are not meant to be in stone and are merely outlining a proposed model. One 'Hit' video, from a creative team that generates 75,000 views, is possible and achieves the goal while being outside of this model. Multiple viewing and forum member views will also throw off the potential new viewer numbers so its important to not get caught up in the numbers. Creative expansion without expectation is key. Butterfly wings: Reaching one new donor, one new DVD buyer, one new insightful forum member, or one new possible EE teacher can make the effort a worthwhile ripple effect.

Identify and choose high potential viewer markets for subject matter and tagging.
Examples: Kitten/Cat, Puppies/Dog, [current events]

Create a video and upload it to the internet. (YouTube, etc.)
Videos need to contain Cassiopaea related material in some fashion.
Use actual Books, DVDs, T-shirts, Signs, Titles, Links, Quotes, Voice, etc. in the video.
Be subtle or Be direct. In the background or as a major story element.
Minute or Masterpiece. Quick dog trick next to a book or Praying kitty lip syncing the Prayer of the Soul.
Provide the viewer with a way to find out more.

Again remember Laura's goals:
For now, what needs to be done is to 1) get EE out there to ameliorate the suffering on the planet which can possibly change the vector of the transition; 2) teach EE and form EE groups from which FOTCM membership will grow; 3) Help us raise funds by direct contributions, increasing our membership, helping to promote EE so that everybody who can afford it will buy the DVDs.

Is this a worthy forum member endeavor that fits within Laura's goals?
