Missing toddler found naked, beaten by roadside; former babysitter arrested
“Evidence indicates that the abduction was not a random crime,” the statement said.

The babysitter had been fired recently, WHDH reported, but authorities are still trying to determine a motive for the alleged abduction.

Little Lyndon was reunited with her family and hospitalized in fair condition, police said.

This is Fascinating - i came across this other writer who was on 'Where did the Road Go' called Steph Young, and after listening to the interview, i got her ebooks,

-the cases in David Paulides' new book were already in her books - and some of it is very creepy in terms of who or what could be doing this.

I wonder if the following sad case will be ending up in Paulides' files....

Autistic child, disappeared from a home for no obvious reason, not properly outfitted for the weather. Volunteers were asked to stay out of the woods to stop 'distracting' the dogs (i.e. had they 'lost' the scent?)... Found deceased in a local body of water. :(

Every time I see one of these, I wonder: Genuine accident? Or have 'they' gotten better at not 'waiting so long' before re-inserting the bodies back into our 'local time' to avoid the obvious anomalies (like proof the the body hasn't been deceased as long as it's been missing, etc.)?

When the 411 movie comes out, will more people finally get a wake up call? Or will the pattern of disappearances change and shift, so they no longer match the patterns Paulides has documented?

Good idea; will do. I assume he gets tons of these, but I suppose it won't hurt to send it along just to be sure.

In Finnish folklore, the ”Forest’s cloak” is a space or time where a person or domesticated animal can end up, while striding in nature.

A person in the forest’s cloak feels peculiar, strange. Some tell of the world around them becoming silent, bird song and other sounds of the forest quieting. A familiar forest can turn into a strange and different place, somehow ”upside down”. Some people can become frozen, unable to move or speak. Others roam in an environment that has turned into completely unfamiliar one. Often in the stories, one gets lost in the forest’s cloak.

People vanishing into the forest’s cloak are said to disappear from others’ view, not being found, even if they were passed by in close proximity. People in the forest’s cloak can appear as a stone or a tree stump to persons outside. There are stories where a person looking for his lost cow, wearily sits on a stone, not realizing he is sitting on the very cow. Some people are released of the forest’s cloak spontaneously, others by performing spells, while some are said to remain forever lost.

There are different ways of attempting to get out of the forest’s cloak, such as turning a piece of clothing inside out, or looking through your legs. There are also different methods of trying to find a person lost in the forest’s cloak, such as looking though a rootstock/ twig bent to form a circle, or turning footprints over or pouring water into the footprints. A person looking for the lost one could turn his clothing inside out as well. ”Releaser” was a shaman, who could retrieve the lost person from the forest’s cloak.

Forest’s cloak is similar to the ”Oz Factor”, mentioned by UFO researchers. Diabetes can cause symptoms similar to the forest’s cloak.

Missing Time

On par with alien abductions, missing time is a fascinating phenomenon.

I just want to share an interesting experience that I had as a child.

On a Saturday when I was 10 (or thereabout), I had just finished doing my homework for the weekend and wanted to go outside and see if my friends wanted to play in the woods on the hill that backed onto our houses. It was a particularly sunny day outside and very temperate. I said goodbye to my parents and walked outside and 4 doors down to where my two friends lived. Their mom opened the door and when I asked her if my friends were home, she told me that they were already out in the forest with a third friend of ours who lived on the street and suggested I go find them.

As a kid I was very familiar with the layout of the forest because my friends and I would play games there everyday.

As I started climbing I heard voices coming from the top of the hill, and assuming that they were the voices of my friends ran up the hill to greet them. The weird part is when I got to the top of the hill, everything was silent. I couldn't hear the voices of my friends, the birds stopped chirping and this strange feeling of confusion and fear grabbed a hold of me. My head started spinning and I could hardly stand up, but I was afraid so I lurched off deeper into the forest thinking I could lose whatever made me so frightened. But I hadn't taken 10 steps before I realized that the forest looked completely different than I remembered and I had no idea where I was.

Panicked, I stumbled off in a random direction. I remember tripping and falling (and crying), and then nothing.

Some time later I woke up shaking on the lawn of a house. I thought it was my house since it had red bricks (and I was in shock), but then I realized that it wasn't and I was lying in a neighborhood I had never been to before. I ran up to the house and the young couple that opened the door were treated to the sight of an inconsolable 10 year old with a dripping nose. They were concerned (obviously) and they invited me in to meet their daughter (who was just small). They gave me some juice and cookies and offered their phone so I could call my dad.

My dad comes by about 20 minutes later, thanks the couple for looking after me and brings me out to the car. He was absolutely furious with me. Turns out that I had been missing for about 6 hours and it was late in evening at this point (almost night). The place where I turned up was miles away from where I lived and my dad thought that I had gotten into a strangers car and been taken.

Turns out my friends returned to the house about an hour after I left to find them and maintained that they had never seen me or heard me (though I was calling out to them as I climbed the hill) even though they had been playing in the spot that I knew they would be.

To this day I have never been able to remember what happened.

Also a recent case in SF, Ca.

I am thinking a 411 disappearances
1-involve lay lines?
2- Some sort of gap that opens up at a particular monument in the time and space continuum. (involving a highly charged area of electrical activity in the general vicinity of lay lines)
3-That perhaps that there is a good possibility that some people are even being abducted and mutilated
4-This guy fit the bill with a dutch name with German roots. Also an intellectual.

SF Clean-Tech Consultant Disappears From Angel Island, Washes Up In Cove
on Sep 9, 2015 12:00 pm

A San Francisco man who mysteriously disappeared from his boat during a trip to Angel Island was found dead Tuesday, after a two-day-long search by rescue teams.

42-year-old Wouter Van Lier, his wife, and two family friends had docked their rented boat in Ayala Cove on Angel Island this weekend, the Chron {1} reports.

According to KRON4, {2} the last time Van Lier's wife saw him was 1 a.m. Monday. When she woke up at 6, she told officials, he was gone.

Rescue groups from Marin, San Mateo and Contra Costa counties; a Marin County Sheriff’s Office’ patrol boat and members of their dive team; canine search and rescue teams; a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter; and the Bay Area Mountain Rescue Unit all combed the 1.2-square-mile island for signs of Van Lier until sunset Monday, to no avail.

They returned as the sun rose on Tuesday morning, that time to "get to the more inaccessible areas of the island" and cover "a larger water search area,” Tiburon Police spokesperson Laurie Nilsen told KRON4.

Tuesday afternoon, Nilsen says, Van Lier's lifeless body was found floating in Ayala Cove, not far from where his boat had first docked.

UPDATE The body recovered earlier today off Angel Island has been positively identified as missing SF resident Wouter Van Lier, 42yrs old.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Van Lier ran Candide Consultancy,{4} which focuses "on clean-tech companies that provide compelling, innovative solutions to capitalize on the economic opportunities of sustainability."

He also had a blog entitled "Monkey Sandwich,"{5} which sought to "create and curate content which is susceptible to debate and differing opinions."

An active social media user, Van Lier's last tweets were on September 3, when he decried California's water shortage:

1.Water = water 2.Fix (regulatory) absurdities 3.Use water insecurity to create its opposite

According to the Marin County Sheriff's department, Van Lier's death remains under investigation. But it's unlikely that foul play was a factor, Nilsen says, as “it appears to be a tragic accident.”

Sheriff's Coroners Office investigation continuing as to cause and manner of death of Wouter Van Lier. Findings could take up to 6-8 weeks.

Hmm, too bad he didn't give more detail. Had it turned...bizarrely tropical with no obvious light source, perhaps, as it had for that hiker who almost got grabbed by somebody? But this kid was as lucky as the other guy - though in his case, someone sent him back.

"Right here?" "There's houses, people; good enough."

At 27 seconds (of the first video) is the case of Jessica Garcia, possibly another case within the Yosemite National Park.

She was very fortunate to have been found by search teams. She like others, also found near a body of water.

It is an on going cover up as David has stated.

Yosemite worker from Ceres rescued with broken pelvis, leg

Search teams on Tuesday afternoon found a Yosemite National Park employee from Ceres who went missing over the weekend.

Yosemite officials confirmed that Jessica Rose Garcia, 23, was found about 1 p.m. less than two miles up the South Fork Drainage of the Merced River in a rugged area in the southern portion of the park. She was hurt, but conscious.

"Overall, she seems to be doing well," park spokesman Scott Gediman said. "She was able to be short-hauled. This is very, very good."

"Short-haul" is what rangers call it when a helicopter lowers a harness on a steel cable, then picks up an individual and carries him or her — with an accompanying ranger — to a nearby meadow. The decision to short-haul Garcia was made because of the steep, rough terrain where she was found.

According to a Facebook page started by Garcia's family, she was being taken to an undisclosed hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. A post Tuesday afternoon said she suffered a fractured pelvis and fractured femur, but was alert and stable.

Garcia last had been seen at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, walking east along Forest Drive after leaving orientation at the Wawona Hotel. She was dressed in her work uniform, a dark-green polo shirt and dark-green jacket, black slacks and black loafers. She was found about two miles from where she last was seen and apparently had been hiking off-trail.

Garcia hikes regularly. "According to her friends, that's usually what she does on her weekends," said Yosemite spokeswoman Kari Cobb. "She's comfortable with the outdoors."

Garcia worked in Yosemite Valley through the summer and then moved to Wawona recently to start work at the hotel there.

Cobb described the area as "very forested," with steep terrain and some dropoffs. She said temperatures in the area have been in the mid-70s during the day, dropping to the low 40s at night.

Gediman said it was not clear how and when Garcia got hurt.

Search-and-rescue teams included six dog teams, the park helicopter, rangers on horseback and 23 rangers on foot, Cobb said.

Approximately 50 people were involved in the Search and Rescue operation today. This included 6 dog teams, 15 ground searchers, a Park Ranger on horseback, the park helicopter, and other personnel.

Yosemite National Park Rangers are searching for Jessica Rose Garcia, who did not show up for work at the Wawona Hotel. Garcia, a 23-year-old female and an employee of DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite, Inc., was scheduled to work at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, and did not report for work. This was to be Garcia’s first day working at the Wawona Hotel.

Yosemite National Park Rangers checked at her park residence Saturday morning and she was not there. It was determined that Garcia was last seen on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 6, by a co-worker. She was last seen walking east along Forest Drive near the stables in Wawona at approximately 11:30 a.m. Garcia had just come from an orientation meeting with her supervisor at the Wawona Hotel.

She was dressed in her work uniform, a dark green polo shirt with the DNC logo on it, black slacks and black Rockies work loafers. She was also wearing her dark green DNC jacket, which has the DNC logo on the left side of the chest.

PS: Your very welcome!

Here's a story that Paulides posted on his Twitter that fits the Missing 411 profile

No Trace, No Clues, No End: DeOrr Kunz Still Missing after 6 Months

Despite an abundance of theories and intensive national media and social media interest, the whereabouts of a missing 3-year-old remain unknown six months after his disappearance.

DeOrr Kunz Jr. disappeared July 10 from a campsite in the Salmon-Challis National Forest. DeOrr’s family marked his third birthday Dec. 30 without him present.

The case has garnered national attention across social media and in news reports.

Experts and Internet sleuths alike have provided much speculation, but law enforcement, including Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the FBI as well as private investigators, haven’t been able to unravel what happened to the boy.

Steve Penner, Lemhi County chief deputy, said Tuesday he could not comment on any potential new information in the investigation. He said there is plenty of land still to search and the case remains very active.

“We pounded it (the search),” Penner said. “But Mother Nature is unforgiving.”

He said investigators intend to resume searching the Timber Creek Campground area in the spring.

The case was featured Dec. 24 in the “Bring Them Home for Christmas” episode of The Nancy Grace Show on HLN and Grace previously discussed DeOrr’s disappearance in other segments of her shows in 2015. The case also is the subject of a documentary being produced by an independent Colorado film crew.

In November, a Texas investigation firm took up the case after declining to investigate twice due to costs. Philip Klein, CEO of Klein Investigations and Consulting, said he will release a theory that investigators are pursuing Monday — be it kidnapping, parental abduction, a wild animal taking the child, homicide or any other possible motivation. Klein refused to elaborate.

“I’ll say we are happy with the direction of the case … and we feel this case is solvable; we’re going to get there,” Klein said.

Klein’s firm claims to have solved 109 of 112 missing person and parental kidnapping cases it has investigated. In 2014, the firm reunited a Texas girl who’d been missing for 12 years with her father.

Klein said DeOrr’s family has been cooperative, but added that Isaac Reinwand, a family friend who joined the July camping trip, would not make a statement to his investigators.

“We are very disappointed Isaac Reinwand has hired legal counsel and will not give us a statement. Very disappointed,” Klein said.

Reinwand previously voluntarily submitted to a polygraph examination, as did all the members of the camping trip.

The Post Register contacted Reinwand, who refused to comment on the case.

DeOrr went missing after his parents went for a hike, leaving him in the care of his great-grandfather Robert Walton. After searching for the boy for about 45 minutes the parents called 911, sparking a rigorous search of the area involving multiple agencies, dogs, drones, sensor-equipped planes, boats, ATV patrols and foot searches.

No shred of evidence of the boy has been found.

Trina Clegg, DeOrr’s maternal grandmother, said the family has not spoken to news media recently because there is nothing new to report about the disappearance.

“It’s killing us all inside that we don’t have anything new right now,” Clegg said.

She said it has been hard to keep the family going with all the attention the case has gotten, some of it accusatory toward the family.

But she said an outpouring of support from community members has negated some of the nasty comments on social media.

“With the people saying the negative stuff, if one person said something bad there are 20 folks doing good that replace that,” Clegg said.

She said the holidays were difficult for DeOrr’s family. Spending Thanksgiving and Christmas without their child and seeing his birthday come shortly after was “heartbreaking.”

“The only thing that got me though is the community," Clegg said. "People just mailing over Christmas cards … or I would go to talk to people and they would just walk up and hug me."

Clegg said that support has carried over into fundraising efforts to aid in the investigation. Klein’s company has a fund set up for circumstances in which families cannot afford to pay for his investigators to look into missing persons cases.

People from around the area have donated items for a Jan. 16 raffle and auction to raise funds to pay Klein’s team. Clegg said an autographed Carolina Panthers football, two tickets to a Utah Jazz NBA game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and many other items have been donated. (For more on the raffle see box.)

Klein said his nine investigators on the case have turned over about 75 percent of the information they’ve collected to local law enforcement. He said the remaining 25 percent is useless information. Klein said his investigators have conducted around 80 interviews and put in about 500 man-hours on the case.

Klein’s Facebook page has been inundated with comments about DeOrr. Klein said he has employees who closely monitor the Facebook page in case a tip or clue can be found.

But when it comes to missing persons cases, social media can be both a help and a hindrance.

In December, Klein asked that Facebook accounts about DeOrr be shut down so the investigation won’t be hindered. Multiple Facebook pages, several geared toward speculation on the case, remain open. The pages operate under names such as We Love You DeOrr Kunz Jr., Deorr Kunz Jr’s Voices and Miracles For Little Man. Many of the pages, including Klein’s, contain threads that have been derailed by trolls.

Even online fundraising pages to help pay for the investigation and campground search efforts haven’t been immune to ad hominem attacks.

“They’re going to say about us what they’re going to say,” Klein said. “That’s just their First Amendment right, but we would ask the public to take a breath before hitting that post button and read it back once or twice.”

Private investigator Frank Vilt, a retired U.S. Marshal who previously worked with the family, said he backed out of the case after offering a reward for information leading to DeOrr. Vilt said the family disagreed with posting a reward.

Vilt said the lie detector tests administered to those at the campsite were inconclusive.

“The whole thing doesn’t make sense; I don’t think they’ll be able to solve this,” he said.

Clegg said Klein has worked diligently on the case and she hopes the raffle will help keep investigators going.

Klein said he appreciated the hospitality Idahoans granted his investigators.

“All I want is the child to come home,” he said. “We’ll get the answers that public and the family needs.”

Tennessee: A beautiful blond hair - blue eye - 2 year old male, missing since Thursday. The Grandmother, his 4 yo Sister and the little boy went for a walk in the woods behind the Grandparent's home ... when he disappeared. So far - no trace?

Hundreds Continue the Search for Boy, 2, Who Vanished Thursday
http://news.yahoo.com/hundreds-continue-search-boy-2-151400113.html

Hundreds gathered in a small Tennessee community yet again on Sunday in an increasingly desperate effort to find a toddler who vanished there last week.

Noah Chamberlin was walking with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister in the woods behind his grandparents' home Thursday afternoon when he wandered out of sight.

The boy has not been seen since. Likewise search efforts have not ceased as volunteers from Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Florida have swarmed to help bring Noah home.

Even as the search appeared to come up empty on Sunday, officials vowed to continue into Monday--the fifth day of such efforts.

“We’re making plans for all day [Monday], and planning what we’re going to do [Monday] evening,” Madison County fire chief Eric Turner told the Jackson Sun. “I hope we don’t have to use them. I hope we find him soon.”

Also on Sunday, Madison County Sheriff's Office spokesman Tom Mapes told reporters that the first thing authorities did was check databases to see if child predators might be in the area.

“As soon as it happened on Thursday, boom,” Mapes said. “They immediately found three sex offenders within two miles and they were all over that. That was done quickly. It was the first thing they did.”

That search came up empty. As did the review of deer cameras in the area that some suspected might have footage of the boy.

Calls for help in the search have lit up the internet as Facebook users spread the word--along with the boy's missing poster--using the hashtag #FindNoah.

Noah was last seen wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt and jeans. He is two feet tall and weighs about 25 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chester County Sheriff's Office at (731) 989-2787 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

The Body of Little Noah Chamberlin, 2, Found in Tennessee Clearing After Desperate Search
http://news.yahoo.com/body-little-noah-chamberlin-2-011400883.html

Distraught searchers announced Thursday they had found the small body of Noah Chamberlin, a Tennessee toddler who wandered off one week ago while walking in the woods with his grandmother.

Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver was overcome as he delivered the news in a press conference at a local church.

He paused for several moments after announcing "We have found Noah Chamberlin." Struggling with his emotions and breaking into tears, the sheriff added, "He was located about one-and-a-half miles from the home where he went missing ... The family has been notified."

Noah, who loved running and hiding, had taken off while he was in the woods with his grandmother and his older sister.

"Just like grandma said, she turned her head for a minute and he was gone," Weaver said. "There were trails everywhere."

Madison County Sheriff John Mehr and Weaver called the child's death "a tragic accident." There was no indication of foul play, they said.

Hundreds of volunteers had been scouring the rugged area. Noah's body was found after authorities expanded their search area.

He was found in a clearing, just a half-mile outside of the original grid combed by rescuers. Authorities had not believed the toddler could get that far on his own, despite his penchant for running off.

"Everybody we talked to talked about how he ran all the time, jumped over tables, ran, just nonstop," Mehr said. "He loved to hide. We had people tell us that even adults would run after him, and they couldn't catch him."

His family asked for privacy and thanked the community for looking for their boy.

"They just said they wanted to make sure everybody knew how much they appreciated that," Mehr said. "They want Noah's life to be honored in the fact that he brought a community together."

Parents Jacob and Destiny Chamberlin are left with their 4-year-old daughter. The father is a truck driver. Both kids were being watched by their grandmother while their mother went to the store.

PINSON, Tenn. — The body of Noah Chamberlin, the 2-year-old missing boy from Pinson, has been found.

Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver addressed reporters Thursday afternoon, and said Noah’s body was located between 1-4 p.m. about a mile and a half from where he went missing on Jan. 14.

“I think we’ve done everything humanly possible,” Weaver said. “We were there and we stuck to it and it just wasn’t meant to be for some reason. We don’t know everything, and we’re not supposed to know everything.”

Madison County Fire Chief Eric Turner said Noah's body was found on the outskirts of the search area, an area that had only previously been searched one time.

Authorities said no foul play was involved in Noah's death, which they called a tragic accident. An autopsy will be conducted, which is standard procedure.

Noah had been missing since last Thursday. He, his grandmother and sister were walking in the woods near Short Road near the Chester and Madison county line when he disappeared. Hundreds of law enforcement officers and volunteers were involved in the weeklong search before Noah's body was found Thursday afternoon.

On Wednesday, law enforcement officials said they had found evidence in the woods, leading officers to believe the toddler was nearby.

Madison County Sheriff John Mehr, who had assisted in the search for Noah since Jan. 14 when he was first reported missing, would not comment on what leads or evidence had been found then.

Both Mehr and Weaver rejected speculation that Noah's family had been involved in his disappearance, saying that lies and unfounded rumors were being spread on social media. "We have thoroughly vetted all of that," Mehr said, in response to questions on the family's background. The family are "good citizens," Mehr added.

Andy Morris, pastor of The Highlands Church in Henderson, said the family wants Noah to be remembered as a boy who brought a community together.

"And they’re asking right now that they have time to mourn and to love on each other as they go through this time of loss," Morris said. "But at the same [time], they beg you to continue to pray and continue to keep this heart of service and heart of compassion for other people and other humans.”
