Moveing to New Hampshire, USA area

since my interest in the Casseopeon theory's and my joining the forum , I have a intense desire to move to the New Hampshire area of the USA...It seems to get stronger by the day...Could you please ask in your next session if it would be the right thing to do...I'm retired and it would be my last move...Also if it is the Cs telling me this, ask why ...

This forum currently has 2607 members. Have you considered what would happen if everyone here wanted to ask the C's opinion about what they wish to do?

It's okay, Roger. It's a natural inclination to have personal questions answered by a source of information with a bit of a 'higher vantage'.

The reality of the situation is that sessions take such energy that, over the years, Laura has tried to keep most questions at a more broadly applicable and beneficial level than personal life details.

Ultimately, the C's have said time and time again that the point is for us to learn to discern and make our own determinations and decisions based on all available knowledge and networking. So, with that in mind, why exactly would you be moving? How will you benefit?

If I were to guess, it seems that you are interested in joining the Free State Project (FSP for short).

I looked at the FSP a few years ago, and it seemed like they had the right goals. They are freedom-loving people that want to reduce government.

Unfortunately I see a couple flaws in their strategy. First, they think that a few hundred supporters or maybe even a thousand have a chance of out-voting the tens of thousands of fascists moving in from Massachusetts every year. It is not possible. Second, their philosophy seems to be that with enough votes, they can "take over" some area politically. While I can understand their desire to "set things straight", I feel that their "take over" strategy is just as STS as the fascists that they despise. In my opinion, to conquer and control people is STS, regardless of the claimed motive. Need I mention Grafton as an example of the "take over" political STS philosphy?

If you have no knowlege or affiliation with FSP and just (by chance) happen to think that New Hampshire is the place for you, then please ignore my complaints about the FSP and do what you think is the best for you and your family. There are certainly worse places to move to.

But looking at the FSP, I think they are silly. And until Canada and Quebec separates FOR REAL, I think Jason Sorens' theories are just a pile of manure.

I know how you feel, Roger. :)
Bottom line is: it's always your choice. Free Will and all that ;D
Make plans (either way). If it works out, it was meant to be. If it doesn't, use your preparations to learn.
Have fun either way, though, and don't take 'failure' too seriously. In the end, everything is a lesson (paraphrasing the C's :P).

Best of luck with whatever you decide!!!

Now I know why I was drawn to the Forum...I really appreciate Curious richaids answer...At onetime not to long ago I saw this same project (FSP) and thought it might be a good idea to look into it...For some reason my ideas coincided with your sense of flaws in there way of thinking... absolutely right in your deduction about fascists movement to the lower part of NH. Theres a big difference on the (Mason-Dixon) line between central and northen New Hampshire... Figure even with the cold winters, it will be a lot better living than in New York...It's getting impossible to live here on a pension ...I know it is STS thinking, but I would like to get my family living a little more comfortable for the next four years (2014) But again it has to do with finances and the ability to make the move. Who knows, maybe that's why I have this compulsion and that is why I asked this question. OK thank you for your gracious answers, it is sincerely appreciated... PS: thanks to Anart , who always comes up with the right answer. Roger

Have you taken into consideration that things maybe getting colder rather quickly and moving further north may not be the way to go?

Is there nowhere south that would be cheaper to live than what you are paying now?

I live on the border of New Hampshire, in Massachusetts, and I understand that Mass. has a city culture due to Boston, but unsavory elements are everywhere, and you shouldn't simply blame us down here for any perceived misfortune on your part. There are sects and cults and such everywhere, and Concord, Manchester, etc. aren't exactly small towns.
Now that I have defended my state(why, I don't know), I have to say the area around New Hampshire and in NH in is an awesome mix of natural beauty and progressiveness(near Brattleboro, Vt), and if their are factions as you say, they don't exactly have parades going downtown.

I too am moving to New Hampshire to morrow, in fact. Many dots have lead me there and although it is cold, that is something I can deal with I think, and will not be alone, as I have been. The people are co-linear in many ways than I have have found living in New York for many years. I am looking forward to growing food with like-minded ones who know how to survive and have fun. Karaoke will be on the agenda, as well as a spiral I will be making in the yard out of rocks and wood. The animals will be happier, there is an abundance of wildlife that has its problems like other places, but it feels right. Scary, I have never packed up the car with all my belongings, including the 2 dogs and the dove. His mate, the parakeet escaped during the move, but I've been reassuring him every day that he will be cared for.

Theres an amount of fear, although I've released much of it, and the deaths of my loved ones, and its time to make the move. I researched to the best of my ability, and the drawbacks don't outweigh the choice that I think is pretty good. I have plans that may or may not pan out, but I am showing up, and I will find what is needed for all of us. I'd love to find the other New Englanders from the forum, and possibly have an EE workshop that others can come and teach. I will continue my brand of Yoga, which includes tobacco, and have net a botanist that can give pointers. I=V been there once and already have met some minds conducive to living well and educated. And if not I will also find out because I have you all, thank the Cosmos, and LKJ and co. I will definitely keep you posted and would love to ear more.

Live free or die is my motto anyway, although we know we hve our 3D limitations, but...we'll give it a go and just wait and see what this new universe is about, and hopefully, or just possibly the old one will be remembered, loved and also let go. No matter what pain had to accompny these years growth in one way or another will assuredly happen, and that and who and what I choose to be is reaaly all here is. New lessons, new surroundings and opportunities to give with joy.
