Hello,
As the title suggests, I believe it could be of help than to gather knowledge we currently have about false teachings / false spiritual "sources".
If you look at my two suggestions, you may understand my perspective - it would be about the most main stream ones in regard of the highest level of falsehood. So the idea of a ratio could be used in order to have something here: we would be listing the spiritual teachings, cosmologies that a basic Truth seeker would eventually stumble upon (or having great chances).
It seems to me that it is almost a feature of our world than to have Truth seekers stumble upon several materials - the phenomenon itself is bugging - and if we were to set a goal as being "the sharing of knowledge for humanity in general", I believe that it could fit than to monitor such phenomenon, as well in the hope that some people may read about such a listing and so of course in the hope of decreasing access to unwanted / damaging / useless material.
It could be as well that some members may actually not know about some being indeed false teachings, because there are many C sessions, the forum is huge and some inputs are remaining scattered in various posts.
Here are two:
#BOOK - Helen Schucman / William Thetford - "A course in miracle"
One can discern that the CIA has been strongly involved in Thetford's research and that the book, intending to be a gathering of spiritual teachings ("one day - one spiritual idea") would be of CIA origin. It would have a negative impact on the spirituality of a person, mostly teaching wrong / damaging directions.

#COSMOLOGY / MATERIAL - "The Ummites" / "Ummo"
Allegedly a team of alien beings having entered in contact with various scientists in order to teah them about hidden laws of the Universe, specifically physic principles, the Ummo material has been proven to be a scam.

That's more or less all I can think of right now, the above formatting is of no matter if you can find a best way to present the data in case you find my thread relevant.
I guess that you get the idea, I know that I have some other in mind but which haven't yet popped up. I am especially looking at big main stream false cosmologies, somehow what normal people have chances to stumble upon, and actually what people do stumble upon. I don't know if we should include "Darwin" and other things. We would end up with generic ideas such as "Protestantism" and things, while I believe the thread may deserve some precision around the idea of "specific New age" stuffs. Simply put, the most frequent occurences of "big teachings".
Darwin is most probably one of the most damaging conceptual framework out there - so we may want to stick to some "newbie survival kit" here. Let me know what you think.
Looking at myself, I could spend decades in studying things such as The Ummites & A course in miracle. There are really people hooked on that.
