A Disturbance in the Force
Reading the history of Polish many times I came across a reference and historical conviction that the Poles had lived on this lands many years before baptism. In school we are taught and the general principle is accepted that as a country we were founded during the reign of Mieszko I, who was baptized and converted Poland to Catholicism country. You would agree with this if u will not know lot of historical legends and total curtain that obscures the earlys going before that date.

However, there is a paint, which is located on a Jasna Gora, and it's called the Polish Kings and Princes(Poczet Królów i Książąt Polskich). Everything would be consistent if not for the fact that Mieszko I was the 15 Polish ruler on that paint. The search for any information from available resources i found brings nothing, and all general information and dates start at 966.

I would be very grateful if this question could be ask on one of the session and to dispel at least some of the questions or give more precise one.

So my questions could be:

1. Is "Poczet Królów Polskich" just a little bit consistent with the history of Polish?

2. If Lech can be regarded as a Polish king or prince?

3. Is there existing book value to read about it?

Maybe you guys, if u know subject have better questions we could ask.
