Phoenix Lights: Never Before Seen Footage

UFO Casebook Special Report: KTVK/Phoenix TV Special Reveals "The Craft"

A couple of weeks ago, I received an email from Scott Davis of the KTVK/Phoenix television station. They have always been involved in publishing reports about the 1997 Phoenix lights, and have done a good job, in my opinion, of presenting a fair and balanced look at all of the evidence.

With the almost constant news of the anniversary of the famous case, and also some recent video footage of more "lights," the UFO Casebook has published a number of reports concerning both the old and new lights.

I have been on a number of radio shows, and written a couple of blogs on the subject lately. My position on the 1997 lights was well known-I never accepted the flare theory, and I also made the same assessment on the recent videos of lights near Phoenix.

In the recent mail from Mr. Davis, he asked me a very strange question: Would I reexamine my position on the 2007 lights, as they were obviously just flares? Well, I thought to myself, "Mr. Davis is welcome to his opinion, and I respect that." But, so am I, and I will say that I have never altered an opinion on any case unless I had seen incontrovertible evidence to support a different position. In this case, I have not, and in my judgment, although some of the objects / lights seen and filmed may have been flares, there is no way that the flare theory will satisfy all of the evidence that I have seen.

Shortly thereafter, Scott told me that an upcoming special on KTVK would give an overview of the case, and for the first time, "the craft" would be made public. I only recently released this information in a radio interview from Great Britain.

They are calling the triangular craft the "Intruder." Scott was kind enough to send me the stations promotional video on the special, and I will also provide a link to their web page that contains several videos, including the "Intruder" video. It is quite riveting, and I think that finally we can say that at least one unknown flying triangular object has been filmed over Phoenix that even the mainstream media will not debunk.

I want to give Scott a big thank you for being cooperative with me on this and I only hope that the media and Ufology can work together in the future. Opinions cannot change what is true, and to me, that truth is presented in this KTVK/Phoenix special.

There could well come a day when certain information becomes public that will necessitate this cooperation between mainstream media and those of us who seek the truth about UFOs.(B J Booth)

Scott also informs me that the special will air again on Sunday March 18 at 6:30pm in Phoenix.

"I'm told that anywhere in the country, those with Dish Network who subscribe to "local channels" can see our station, although I don't know how to find it," stated Davis.
The "craft" in question can be viewed by going to this website, and clicking "The Intruder" from the list.

Mystery of Phoenix Lights Still Unanswered 20 Years Later
14.03.2017(updated 00:08 15.03.2017)
https://sputniknews.com/us/201703141051583363-phoenix-lights-mystery-unanswered/
Twenty years ago, on March 13, 1997, thousands of Arizonans looked up at the sky to see bizarre clusters of light dashing across the sky. The so-called ‘Phoenix Lights’ have been the subject of endless speculation. While the US military has taken credit for the phenomenon, conspiracy theories abound on the 20th anniversary of the infamous event.

Observers claimed to see a v-shaped spacecraft the length of several football fields in the night sky, with five bright trailing lights. The lights flew from Tucson to Phoenix, at which point they stopped moving and began to flicker before disappearing entirely.

The bizarre occurrence was documented by thousands of people over a 300-mile stretch. The US Air Force took credit, claiming that the moving lights was actually a squadron of planes flying in formation while the stationary lights were illumination flares. It was done as a part of a training exercise, according to the military.

But some were unsatisfied by this explanation, including former Phoenix city councilwoman Frances Barwood. In a recent interview, she told her local FOX affiliate that the reaction of most Arizonans was to ignore or diminish the lights as irrelevant. "I asked if anybody knew what this object was and could we check into it," said Barwood. "I was met by a whole bunch of stares."

Barwood claims that she was met with ridicule and accusations of being an alien conspiracy theorist. "I got cartoons in the paper with rocket going in one ear and out the other. One with Doctor Spock*… I thought if this many people saw whatever this was first of all, what did they remember? They all described the exactly the same thing," Barwood said. "There was no doubt in my mind. You can't get that many people to agree on the same object."

Fife Symington, Arizona governor from 1991-1997, was among those who ridiculed the idea of the lights being of extraterrestrial origin. During a news conference, he had an assistant dressed as an alien casually walk past him to the laughs of reporters.

But the day that he saw the lights, Symington appeared on local television. "[The object was] enormous. It just felt otherworldly. In your gut, you could just tell it was otherworldly."

A decade later, he confirmed to the press that he believed that the Phoenix Lights were of extraterrestrial origin. "I'm a pilot and I know just about every machine that flies," Symington, a former Air Force captain who flew combat missions in Vietnam, told the Arizona Daily Star in 2007. "It was bigger than anything that I've ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people. I don't know why people would ridicule it."

As time passes, it seems that the truth behind the Phoenix Lights (unless an Air Force training exercise is truly the whole story) will vanish just as the lights did.

* Miss Barwood may be confusing famous child psychologist Doctor Benjamin Spock with the first officer of the Starship Enterprise, the half-Vulcan Mister Spock, of the Star Trek television and movie franchise.

Francis Barwood was on the Phoenix city council when the famous mass UFO sighting on March 13, 1997 occurred. When the media asked her question about it, she asked the rest of the council, because she had not heard about it. They ignored her, and her request to look into the incident. So on her own she spoke with over 700 witnesses. Facing ridicule and stonewalling, she continued to champion the witnesses and their cause. Source: http://ufocongress.com/ufo-conference...

For the last 20 years, witnesses have debated what they saw the night of March 13, 1997 in the skies over Phoenix. It was a string of bright lights, laid out in a curve, or V formation. Some claim they saw physical crafts behind those lights, others claim the light themselves were the crafts. Some believe they were aliens or inter-dimensional beings, still others think it was a secret military spacecraft. Others believe the official explanation: military flares. The anomaly has been dubbed “The Phoenix Lights,” and it is one of the most famous UFO events of the 1990’s, and possibly one of the most famous UFO events to ever take place, given the fact that it was witnessed by thousands of people and caught on camera, where it was then made available to millions of people around the globe.

Meanwhile in Waterford, Ireland:

The object in question was seen over Waterford, Ireland and shows a very unusually colored and shaped object.
What we see is a purple-colored donut shape with several breaks in the circular shape.
The object is adorned on top with no less than 18 brightly lit white lights.
The object fades in and out of focus from time to time, but is clearly seen most of the time.
The question at hand is what this strange object is.
The UFO could be anything from an unusual drone to an inflated object of some kind, or something more sinister.
Take a good look and see if you can identify it.
