After hearing about the sudden death of Pepperfritz I wanted to share a poem written many years ago when studying German.

Victoria is now the 5th death I've received news on this year, not counting the celebrities. Two were fellow searchers who were very honourable men, friends and each possessed the best sense of humour imaginable! One died suddenly of a heart attack a few days before reading about Pepperfritz, both of which were shocking to hear and the other back earlier this summer of a very unexpected brain aneurysm.

The original inspiration for the poem was based upon the idea that "death is a warrior's best advisor" and given the fact that we can go at any time without warning or even provocation, I just felt like sharing.


Tanz mit mir mein Tod
Ich habe keine Angst vor dir
Gib meinen Tatigkeiten Macht

Komm mit mir mein Tod
Aber komm nicht auch nah
Meinen Zeit ist nicht jetzt

Leb mit mir mein Tod
Und mach mich im Moment leben
Nicht vergesse ich siehst du!


Dance with me my death
I do not fear you
Give my actions power

Come with me my death
But do not come too close
My time is not now

Live with me my death
And make me live in the moment
I do not forget you see me!
