Proof that Obama Uses Hypnosis in His Speeches

I recently came across a very interesting article about how Obama uses hypnotic techniques in his speeches. I wasn't sure where to post it, but I'll try here. It's a good way to become more aware of how they attempt to manipulate us.

This long essay can be interesting not just for the Obama case but for all the politicians that we have. Evidently they are all made from the same school, like little machines. Behind them there are many, many consultants and specialists. Thanks for the information.

I don't know ... to me this paper sounds more like disinformation: Lies hidden in a lot of truth to detract from a bigger issue.

Now, while I am interested in hypnotic techniques, I am no expert. I haven't done any formal training, even though that has been on my agenda for decades. But what has detracted me so far is, that as a clinical hypnotherapist you have to really know what you are doing - messing with other people's brains is potentially very dangerous.

Now I also didn't read the whole article - I got tired after about half of it ...

With these disclaimers out of the way, there are several red flags coming up instantly:

1. A lot of the links in the footnotes are dead. That is not a powerful argument per se, as the older the paper gets, the more links will be defunct.

2. A lot of links point to websites selling courses - this sounds a lot like a sales pitch. Courses like "Learn to hypnotise a women to like you", "Learn to use hypnosis to get rich", etc. This is not very confidence inspiring, to say the least.

3. Milton Erickson, is referred to extensively. But no direct quote is to be found, which for a "scientific" paper is unusual. Because I don't have access to the books, there is no way I can check if the gist of the quote goes into the right direction. Normally an author would quote another verbatim to expound his point.

Now while I am convinced that Obama, many other politicians and orators use "mind control" techniques, I think that this article detracts from the main issue. Yes, we are hypnotised, but not by Obama, but by our whole culture. We have been inculcated with stereotypes, memes, pictures, half-truths, news bits, lies and narratives, which we believe without using our rational mind to cross-check them. I think that is the main point. Sure, on 9/11 the constant replay of the falling twin towers served exactly that purpose, to hypnotise and bypass our critical faculties, to set the stage for what was to follow. But the main deception doesn't end there, it not even starts there really. The main point is, that our whole system of governance, media, medicine etc. is built in a way to lead us astray, to keep us asleep and to make us believe in a story, that doesn't hold up even with only the most superficial scrutiny (again 9/11 comes to mind, where anyone examining the facts will see after only about an hour, that facts on the ground contradict the official narrative, but more so, that elementary laws of physics have been disregarded).

As I said, I am not an expert, this is just an assessment of an interested amateur, maybe Laura could chime in with her assessment, but until I get more verifiable information, I maintain that this piece is mainly for the purpose of disinformation.
