Question about blackout in Argentina and neighboring countries

I don't know whether it is a worthty question or not, but just in case I put here:

(see Total blackout in Argentina and neighboring countries... a warning?)

Apparently what happened was absolutely unusual and should never have happened. The blackout should have been encapsulated in a relatively small area, as in fact has occurred on previous occasions. But according to several experts in the field, the sequence of events that occurred after the initial problem was very strange.

The question would be: was this event deliberately triggered by "someone", a simple accident resulting from facility deterioration or human error, or was there a natural event directly involved in the event? (or none of these)
