The Great Work to be performed on the self can be reduced to a science, I think. While individual differences reign, the 'strait and narrow' road is much the same for us all.
During the previous spate of very personal inquiries from regional FOTCM groups, as taxing as it was on the channeling process, the C's provided some valuable insights into the human condition. If only we could open such dialogue with the C's, I thought, but with more general application. Less "When will X get a girlfriend," more commentary on X's (and by loose extension, everybody's) psyche. 'No personal questions' does not mean that the Self ceases to be a subject in all future correspondence with the C's! And after all, the Great Work is the Science of the Self.
In the absence of any initiative from us the C's do not offer much beyond vaguely comforting pronouncements like "Help is on the way," "Do not lose heart." Well, there is one true bringer of lasting hope: knowledge. Knowledge that leads to action.
Bring on the 'personals', I say. But not as Joe Sixpack would, rather as Gurdjieff did.
