Mass Shootings

Any updates on what all that was about? What are people in NJ saying about it?

The media sure is unnaturally quiet, especially considering it was a mass shooting that targeted Jews...
I heard once or twice about the news in the radio asking people with information to call police or candle watch at the location. Based on internet news, they found a phone number in his pocket and based on that they went to a pawn shop in South Amboy NJ. they seems to have arrested the guy who gave the weapons , searched his house and arrested him for possessing the weapons and rounds.

As for as the interview with the people who know the shooters , they are good natured and they couldn't believe that they did it. He was a army national guard, 20 years before and she was a nurse. with exception with his neighbor who said "like he was mad with the world all the time,". It looks he lost his house in forclesoure last year, and moved to a white van and they don't know whether van that is used for shooting is same as this one or not.

As a whole not lot of information of the motive, at the same time I don't see them outright suppressing of the event either. It looks they are dealing it as a domestic hate crime.

I don't know why this Texas shooting is bothering me, but here goes.

First, it seems unrealistic to me that most of the people in that congregation would automatically know to drop to the floor upon hearing gun shots. I think most of the time when strange things happen, people may shout or jump, but not automatically know what to do. And the preacher stays down way too long, even after others are up walking around. It seems too practiced. Second, the sound of the gunshots was the same on all three shots, even though the shooter used a a shotgun (or rifle, both have been mentioned), but the guard who killed the shooter used a pistol. Different guns should make different kinds of sounds. Third (but this could be because of distance viewing the point), why is there no blood splatter on the wall behind the victims, especially the shooter who was shot in the head by the guard? And one other thing, a woman was interviewed outside who said her mother was sitting right next to the shooter, and had been keeping her eye on him because she found him "suspicious". According to that woman, the man was wearing a fake beard and sunglasses. I am not saying this is "fake", but these issues seem odd to me.

Here's a clear video with sound:

There happened a knife attack in a Paris suburb, where one attacker stabs several people and kills at least one person. The attacker himself got killed as well by police.

A man who stabbed three people at a park in a Paris suburb, killing one, has been 'neutralized' by police, according to the local mayor. The attacker reportedly lashed out at passersby at random.

BFMTV says the incident happened around 2pm in Hautes-Bruyeres Park, in Villejuif. Police confirmed that an operation was underway in the area, and asked people to avoid the area.

According to some reports, police checked if the man was carrying any explosives, but none was found at the scene.

The man reportedly attacked several people before attempting to flee the scene, but was shot by police and fatally wounded. It’s not clear what his motives were, or if he had any accomplices.

Hay-les-Roses Mayor, Vincent Jeanbrun, told reporters that one person had been killed in the attack, and the suspect was shot as he moved towards a nearby shopping center. Two others were injured.

Secretary General of the SGP-FO Police Unit Yves Lefebvre said the officers “reacted in self-defense” in shooting the man.

2 knife attacks by lone men on police in one day in Europe:

In France's northeastern city of Metz, a man wielding a knife shouting "Allahu Akbar" was shot in the thigh multiple times. He was 'on a list of individuals being monitored for links to militant and extremist groups' and was "known to have a "personality disorder." - this comes on the heels of the attack in France posted above that happened just 2 days ago.

And the other in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, a 23-year old man approached police with a knife in his hand and, on refusing to stop, police shot him and it was fatal.

A man armed with a knife and yelling "Allahu Akbar" rushed at police officers in the northeastern city of Metz only two days after a stabbing attack near Paris which left one person dead and several injured.

The suspect was shot in the thigh multiple times and was on a list of individuals being monitored for links to militant and extremist groups, according to the prosecutor's office. An investigation is currently underway to discover the man's specific motivations. His name has not been released.

Metz public prosecutor Christian Mercuri added that the suspect is known to have a "personality disorder." The prosecutor's office is currently in contact with the French anti-terrorism prosecutor's office about the attack.

"I praise the quick thinking of the @PoliceNat57 (Moselle police force), which intervened to apprehend the individual. A probe is underway to determine the precise motivation and circumstances behind the act," French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner wrote on Twitter.

This incident occurred only two days after a man went on a rampage with a knife just outside of Paris in the suburb of Villejuif. That attack left one person dead and two injured, the assailant was shot and killed by responding officers. Anti-terrorism prosecutor's office took over the investigation later. The man was reported to have converted to Islam and to suffer from "psychiatric problems."

Four police officers were also left dead in a knife attack at police headquarters in Paris in October. Two other officers were injured. That perpetrator was shot dead. Reports suggest that assailant was also radicalized and planned his attack.

Boy Who Killed Teacher, Shot 6 Others in Mexico School May Have Been Influenced by Video Game: Official

An 11-year-old student opened fire with two guns on his teachers and classmates in a school in northern Mexico Friday, killing a teacher and wounding six other people before taking his own life, authorities said.

Coahuila state Gov. Miguel Angel Riquelme said the preliminary investigation showed the 6th-grader arrived at his classroom in the city of Torreon, told a classmate, “Today is the day” and asked permission to go to the bathroom.

After 15 minutes, when he had not returned, his teacher went to look for him. He emerged from the bathroom firing the guns. The shooting ended when he shot himself, Riquelme said.

Among the wounded were five students and a gym teacher, Riquelme said. None of the injuries were life-threatening, and some victims were expected to be released from hospitals soon.

School shootings are rare in Mexico. Friday's shooting was reminiscent of another in January 2017 in the northern city of Monterrey. In that case, a student opened fire in a private high school. He killed a teacher and wounded two students. The shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The governor said the 11-year-old in the Torreon shooting lived with his grandparents and that his mother had died some years ago. He said the boy had not presented behavioral problems before in the school. Investigators were looking into reports the boy was influenced by a particular video game.

Images from the scene showed worried parents arriving at Colegio Cervantes to pick up their children Friday. It is a private school in downtown Torreon across the street from a large park.

Danya Mendizabal, whose daughter is in 4th grade at Colegio Cervantes, said she was initially alerted by a chat of student mothers. She called the school but no one answered. Then she called a teacher who told her that her daughter was fine and she should come get her.

Mendizabal said her daughter was in her classroom in another part of the school and did not know what had happened. “They managed it well because the teachers were very calm,” she said.

She said she never imagined anything like it could happen at the school.

“Colegio Cervantes has always distinguished itself as a very safe school of middle class kids,” she said.

The school participates in a state program called “Safe Backpack” in which school personnel search each child's backpack when they arrive at school, she said.

Torreon is an industrial city with foreign assembly plants.

In Hanau, Germany near Frankfurt a man (Tobias Rathjen) killed 11 people. According to German news he was banker and 9/11 changed his life, and he was into conspiracy theories.

Here is a video he released earlier (maybe some years) and just under his name:

The suspected gunman who carried out an attack on two shisha bars in Hanau, Germany, posted a disturbing “personal message” online. The interior minister said the alleged attacker, Tobias Rathjen, had a xenophobic motive. He killed nine people and seriously injured five in the German town 25 kilometres east of Frankfurt. He was later found dead at his home, along with the body of his 72-year-old mother. German authorities are treating the incident as an act of domestic terrorism.

His statement (what there is of it) seems specifically directed towards the United States Pedo-Elite ring. Has anyone heard the whole video? Is it called a "xenophobic motive" because he shot people in Hookah bars?

Dead men don't tell tales.

German "anti-fascist" propagandists must be having a field day. A "xenophobic" German going on a shooting spree...
Has he been radicalized by right-wing bloggers or is he an innate racist (as so many Germans are alleged to be)?
Or did he have a schizophrenic disorder intensified by drugs and alcohol?

No doubt gun laws will be tightened, free speech be curtailed and the migrant victim theory emphasized.

I think it's far too early to speculate about him being an intelligence community patsy.

Is it called a "xenophobic motive" because he shot people in Hookah bars?

The city of Hanau is said to have a remarkable 40% of residents from a migrant background
comprising 150 ethnicities or nationalities. If you're visiting a hookah bar there, chances are you're right in the middle of migrants or foreigners.

I'm sorry that I actually didn't answer your question, Debra.
