Re: Corporate personhood

A Disturbance in the Force
Is a person, in actuality, a legal fiction that acts as an individual's avatar in the game of commerce, which is necessary for other fictions (corporations/governments) to interact with "us"? If so, is this one of the ways in which the "predator's mind was substituted for our own"?

(I can't seem to make heads or tails of the concept of identity theft without coming to the conclusion implied by the first question. This question has been nagging me for a while, almost since I initially began looking into the Sovereign Citizen/Freeman-on-the-Land "movements". I'm also aware that this notion flies in the face of the idea that corporations should not be considered to be "persons".)
