A Woody Allen movie that can be seen as a document on psychopathy in the English upper class.
I view this film as a pretext for the author to describe the upper-class behaviour in England.
We are shown that the sophistication, the education and the culture of these people sometimes hide the most ruthless monsters, only preoccupied by their ego and who have no feeling towards anyone.
This may explain why the critics were hard with this movie...
