Shattered glass

The Living Force
After wahing my dishes this morning from last nights late visit by friends , I hung some flute glasses to dry and decided to have a cuppa while reading the latest CTD article on Sott. I got as far as the sub-heading with the words 'shattering' when one of the washed glasses in the kitchen shattered.

I went in to see if it had fallen but it was still hanging with a big round piece missing from the MIDDLE of the glass,it just popped out and was laying on the sink. So I picked up the glass and missing piece and went to put it in the bin when the whole top dropped off and I was just left with the stand in my hand.

Still trying to figure out if or how it may apply to me in any current situation.

Sort of reminded me of Laura's pan handle :/

The only thing that comes to mind is that 1. I was left holding the foundation of something (the stand of the glass) and everything else was shattered to pieces.
2. I need to make/support a stand for something?
Any other thoughts?

Hi stellar,

I immediately thought of the Nick Lowe lyrics "I love the sound of breaking glass" (see here: _http://www.metrolyrics.com/i-love-the-sound-of-breaking-glass-lyrics-nick-lowe.html) but I'm absolutely in the dark about any connections concerning you - maybe you are? :P

Hmmm

Well I read this thread and was thinking about what it may mean on a deeper level and went to kitchen (because your thread reminded me that I had to also - while thinking of a possible responce) put up my own clean dishes I washed last night. While walking to the kitchen I decided I didn't have really anything to add to this topic. lol

There is a glass that seemingly dropped a big U shape out of the side and the piece itself was directly under it. It was on it's side and I can't see how anything could have broken it other than it breaking itself. It's just strange.

It didn't shatter however while taking it to the trash can.

My first thought of seeing the broken glass was of course your topic on my screen.

So I still don't know.)

edited for a punctuation mark.

The only other thing that I can associate with all this business is the phrases 'crystal clear' so maybe something to do with clarity? Maybe something that I thought was crystal clear may actually shatter and my view will change. I dunno, maybe I'll sleep on it a while
