Freshly Laundered & Hanging Out to Dry is being published chapter by chapter as a blog at http://bennettbooks.org/wordpress/?p=239

It is a students experience of John G Bennets Sherbourne experiment, A years intensive study.

As time of posting the writer has written 18 chapters on what she calls the exoteric phase, the getting to know the machine , the material phase and is about to start publishing the mesoteric pahse. Might make for interesting reading for some.

Mods - if there is a better place this could be posted could you please move it there. Thanks.

Just on another of Bennets students......

I recently got heavily into the Progressive Rock Band, King Crimson, oh about a year ago, and I mean totally mesmerized by them, after being sent a song by them called 'Epitath' by someone who I had just met on the internet after advertising for musicians to form a band with me, and then about 3 months ago found out that in the early 70's, their front man Robert Fripp had attended a place called Sherbourne where a guy had studied Gurdjieff (Bennett). He was quoted as saying, "When I found Bennett, the top of my head blew off". I have since watched Fripp being interviewed and found him to be very intriguing.

I'm a fan of King Crimson, too. Fripp recently wrote a short foreword for the book Harmonic Development, which includes a CD compiling all of the recordings of Gurdjieff playing his harmonium.
