The crying girl

I see a picture of three different girls crying in a three different scene. Just because their facial expression, posture, age, hair color etc. share some similar features, doesn't make them the same person. It's the suffering and misery that makes them look the same, because they're sharing the same universal emotion. Anything else would be just imagination running wild, imo.

They all look like different people to me too, but what do I know. Perhaps it has more to do with the research of Paul Ekman et al (including Darwin) into universal facial expressions of emotion.

As for whether they look the same, even though i was susceptible to the idea, i think once you've heard the explication of the whole situation, it may make a bit more sense than the actors theory, if that's what you're saying.

They look very similar. Hair texture, the way the hair parts, the shape of eyebrows in left and middle photos and basic facial proportions are similar. The chins on left and right girls have a similar shape and dimple pattern. Their upper incisors look similar. All three girls have something of a widow's peak, remarkably similar.
There are crisis actors that go around doing this kind of stuff. Is she one? It is possible.
There was a guy on youtube called Dallas Gold Bug that brought out some of this material, using facial analysis, ear evaluations, etc. Many features were changed (body shape, hair color/texture, skin tint and such), but the fundamentals were the same. I think he was on to something. Once people started to see it, his material changed to the ridiculous and the old stuff became hard/impossible to find. Some of the actors were used in man on the street stuff, neighbors talking about their news-worthy neighbors, congressional testimony (greenscreened), government crackdown on natural food suppliers stories, stuff like that. The newer stuff includes statements like Lady Gaga is Jonbenet Ramsey, and that is why no one ever found her body. Now he looks like a fool, naming fakes that clearly aren't. I think it is on purpose so people will understand that these cases are not of his intent.
There is also a company that does hyperrealistic combat training using former military amputees to act like they just got limbs blown off. They do hyper-realistic sets, mimicking any environment the client requires, including human extras. I know I saw this, but no can't find the material on the web. I can't help but wonder sometimes...
Movies can make all manner of nonsense seem very real. There is no reason to assume that some creativity isn't being used in the news industry as well.
