Was wondering if any of you have seen this series on Youtube? I'm still going through it myself, but found it to answer a lot of questions that I had about the 4th Way. Gurdijeff isn't mentioned until episode 2 on the "mental plane", but just watching through the first two episodes, it becomes obvious that they are alluding to him. Apologies if this has been posted before; oh and don't let the conversations about the book The Secret turn you away, I think they reference it to reel people from the New Age community in.

He starts off with a basic untruth about the "four elements" and the "fifth" = spirit. If you'll take a look at my recent book, "Comets and the Horns of Moses", you'll have a much better idea about how the ideas of the ancients that he is allegedly citing actually developed and who did or did not know what. The platform here is much, much later and based on already centuries of disinformation.

I bought this series a few years back before thankfully discovering Laura’s work and the Great Work of this forum. It was during a phase before I knew anything but still suspected there was a deep ‘something’ of import behind the various masks of the western hermetic tradition. Of course there is but certainly not what this series is about or offers. Thankfully, even then, I could discern a whole lot of bull when I saw it! Very rapidly this series descends into a program of self-delusion, self-aggrandisement, materialism and profound narcissism. The presenters are self promotional and disingenuous in the extreme. The book the Secret is actually a total give away. It is essentially STS delusion and designed to lead searchers down entirely the wrong path. Avoid.

There are 6 videos on that playlist, I made it through three of them before I started noticing a few of the same things you guys have pointed out. Although it is apparent that there is much disinformation in it, I did find that it answered some questions about the mental aspect of the work for me. The ideas they presented were not new per say, but I feel that simply listening to it in lieu of reading it made something "pop" in my head. Thank you guys for the quick responses, I know how easy it can be to get swept down the wrong path. Cheers.
