The Situation In Germany

The state of the German economy continues to deteriorate

And it's getting harder and harder to hide, despite regular claims of prosperity and movement towards a happy eco-friendly future.

Creditreform has published a report that shows the growing insolvency of both German citizens and large companies.

According to Creditreform, more and more German companies are declaring their inability to meet all their debt obligations - and as a consequence, declaring bankruptcy. The trend covers almost all sectors of the economy, including industry, construction and services.

The authors of the report separately note that the rate of economic recession is so high that it may soon reach pandemic proportions (2020-2021). In addition, while three years ago small and young companies were most affected, now more and more organizations with several thousand employees are filing for bankruptcy. Obviously, this leads to job cuts - and the labor market situation in Germany is already bleak.

The main reason for this is the rising energy prices, which is not surprising: German industry, firstly, has been deprived of Russian energy resources for several years now and, secondly, suffers from the "green initiatives" lobbied by the current government.

And it looks like it will only get worse: according to the EU authorities, German officials, despite all the damage already done, are still not trying hard enough.

The same goes for France, the EU, and especially the United States and globally.

Jürgen Elsässer von Compact hat sich zum Verbot durch Bundesinnenministerin Nancy Faeser geäußert.

What's he saying?
The reporter asks:
- "How do you feel?"

Jügen Elsässer replies:
- "Ready for battle. This regime will not get away with it. This regime will go down if it continues to take such measures, and today Ms. Faeser has driven a nail into her own political coffin"

German podcast with Paul Brandenburg & Milena Preradovic

I immensely enjoy this (weekly, every Saturday / podcast now at No.150), because there you get a combination of four sharp eyes; the deep cutting criticism, combined with hilarious ironic humor - scrutinizing the insanity of current German Politics. (It's really bad what goes on in that country, along the podcasts i've been listening so far. It takes your breathe away sometimes).

The moderators are skilled, fast, sharp and do very good research. Milena Preradovic is an old time professional reporter and moderator, who went out of the mainstream bubble - especially since 2020. She is amazing, to say the least.

Here you can listen (in german language) to their podcast. I put in several sources:

The last two i put in as links instead, in order not to slow down this/our/Cass' page, because the preview seem to stall quite a bit.

its no defeat. it is just a halt in the process.

It is interesting though, how they lay it out:
"
deepl translation:
In the summary examination of the prohibition order required in summary proceedings, the prospects of success of the action brought by applicant no. 1 prove to be open. Although there are no concerns about the applicability of the Association Act to applicant no. 1, which is organized in the legal form of a limited liability company and operates as a press and media company, there is also every indication that the prohibition order is formally lawful. From a material point of view, there is no doubt that applicant 1 is an association within the meaning of § 2 para. 1 VereinsG, which must allow the activities of applicant 2 as its sub-organization to be attributed to it. However, it is not possible at present to conclusively assess whether this association fulfills the grounds for prohibition of opposing the constitutional order - which, like all grounds under § 3 para. 1 sentence 1 VereinsG and Art. 9 para. 2 GG, must be interpreted narrowly.

Individual statements in the print and online publications disseminated by the first applicant do indeed reveal indications of a violation of human dignity (Article 1(1) of the Basic Law) in particular. There are also predominant indications that the applicant re 1, with her own rhetoric, takes a combative-aggressive stance towards elementary constitutional principles in many contributions. However, there are doubts as to whether, in view of the articles in the issues of “COMPACT-Magazin für Souveränität”, which are largely unobjectionable in terms of freedom of opinion and freedom of the press, the passages that violate Article 1(1) of the Basic Law are so influential for the orientation of the association as a whole that the ban is justified in terms of proportionality. This is because press and media law measures, event bans, location and event-related bans on expression as well as restrictions and bans on gatherings should be considered as possible milder means.

Wow, can't find words for how the German Media now really tries to tell us the opposite of what is really going on.

The secret Hitlers
Is fascism returning? Or is it already here, with Trump Orbán, Höcke? And if so, could it disappear again? About the attempt to recognise evil: the SPIEGEL cover story

The story is behind a paywall. And I will not pay for such ******* ** ******

Puhhh this is heavy for me. I was remembered to:
Not long ago there was the case with C.J. Hopkinns. It was because of his book:

In that book he showed how totalitarian systems work. He drew parallels with Germany today, and then he was attacked and censored.

The Kafkaesque trial against C. J. Hopkins

The US author C. J. Hopkins, who lives in Berlin, will soon be on trial in the second instance for a picture that portrays the restrictions on fundamental rights in recent years as fascist. His book has disappeared from bookshops in a non-transparent manner.

or

The author CJ Hopkins compares the corona policy with that of the Nazis. He has now been convicted by the German judiciary for spreading Nazi propaganda

The American satirist has received a penalty order for tweeting pictures of Covid masks covering a swastika. As out of place as his comparisons may be, the proceedings against him raise questions.

More and more I see that "the new fascism will tell us it is anti-fascism" becomes true.

German bankruptcy: Deindustrialization

For a couple of years now, not counting Merkel's, maybe since Covid-Nordstream, the German government has brought about the beginning of deindustrialization, resulting in the transfer of some of its main “brands” of petro-pharmaceutical industry (BASF) and car parts (Audi-Volswagen, Mercedes) to China. So, now the pressure is on the war economy, as last year Olaf Scholz inaugurated a new factory to produce arms in southern Germany making clear his commitment (i.e. personal) to the sale or transfer of arms to Ukraine and Israel (and their obscure destinations) and opening the way in Europe for a war against Russia.

Remix
Volkswagen is preparing to do something that has never been done before in the company’s 87-year history. To cut costs, it is closing two of its plants in Germany, a large car factory and a parts plant.
While it is not clear yet which plants will be affected, Saxony has been rumored as one location.

Industry analysts had previously predicted the closure of two of the company’s plants: Osnabrück in Lower Saxony and Dresden in Saxony. The state government of Lower Saxony is Volkswagen’s second largest shareholder and opposes the plan.

Volkswagen, which employs 680,000 people and is Germany’s largest industrial employer, also wants to suspend its job security program, in force since 1994, which would have prevented redundancies until 2029 by making them subject to the agreement of the workers’ council.

The company has lost nearly a third of its value in the past five years, making it the worst-performing European carmaker

This pressure is due to the intimidation of the German government by the United States, one wonders why this is happening and why it works? the generational German guilt?

All this while the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) wins the first regional elections for the first time since the Second World War. In stark contrast to Germany's rulers, sectors of the population feel uncomfortable with the political ideologies and the handling of immigration that the Scholz government has promoted.
The German Chancellor's answer is surprising or disquieting, I believe that in psychology this is called projection (or perhaps Psychopathy?) :

RT https://www.rt.com/news/603382-scholz-afd-victory-thuringia/
(...) “The results … are worrying,” Scholz said in a statement to the media, speaking in his capacity as an MP for the Social Democratic Party (SPD). “Our country cannot and must not get used to this. The AfD is damaging Germany. It is weakening the economy, dividing society and ruining our country’s reputation.”
AfD is “weakening the economy” in the name of an insane war with Russia.😶

The media always advocate and preserve the alleged dissatisfaction with military aid, when in reality the German people do not want a third war or to continue paying for a war that in fact has already been lost, and as we well know you cannot manipulate people against their will indefinitely.

The talk about reaching peace in Ukraine as soon as possible comes as Scholz continues to struggle with assorted domestic problems. According to a poll published by ZDF separately and later in the day, some 77% of Germans believe him to be a weak leader, while only 17% speak favorably about his leadership qualities.

German police investigate explosion in central Cologne

September 16, 202411:39 AM GMT+2
COLOGNE, Sept 16 (Reuters) - German police and prosecutors are investigating an explosion that occurred in central Cologne early Monday, a police spokesperson said, adding that there was no indication of a terrorist motive for the crime.
A bystander suffered a mild injury and was brought to hospital after the explosion damaged commercial property on the Hohenzollernring ring road, the spokesperson said.
Damage was visible outside a nightclub called Vanity in the western city.

The spokesperson declined to confirm a link to a series of explosions across the state of North-Rhine Westphalia in recent months that have been attributed to an organised crime gang, but said that all possibilities were being investigated.

Explosive device detonated in Cologne, Germany.
