The Force is Strong With This One
From childhood I have always wondered how things and what power works around a lot of staff. Up to this time, having read through Laura's material, I am faced with so many questions that do not find answers. I think that beliefs and traditions can be pointing out to some big hidden truth.
BRIEF BACKGROUND:
I was born last as a number 8th child. My mother was a traditional healer, maybe not a witch-doctor. She practiced this from 1960s to around 2000s before she later passed on in 2003. We lived in the dark village of Zambia. I grow up to see and know whatever it was there.
The first matter of interest is,
How she healed:
A client would be asked to present a plate with corn/maize flour and money, usually just a coin, on it. This plate would be placed under my mothers bed on the head side. During the night as she slept, she should gather all the information about that client's illness, name of the herb and place to find that herb in the bush. In the following day the herb would be found, administered. Many were healed. Cancers, barrenness, Court cases just to mention a few, were not challenge her. People flocked our home just like a hospital.
The question was, how did she gather that information about the sick? When asked, Mum used to say that beings visited her in the dream to explain the root of the sickness. She said mostly she could only hear the voice but sometimes she saw them,but not very clearly, as human beings, of different races depending on the complexity of the sickness. She said they claimed to have come to help humanity. Mum said in her bloodline someone healed the same way in the past. For us children, non of us was in support of what we tamed as demonic healing because of the knowledge of the bible. Moreover, she was rarely in perfect health. At least she must complain of a pain most of the times. And she discovered she had an insert on her leg. I touched and felt it on her leg- a length of about 4cm object. It never pained.
Who were those beings? STO or STS, I do not know. All that aside. What about this?
A DIED PERSON APPEARS TO A PREGNANT WOMAN ASKING TO BE RE-BORN!
This is a commonplace African phenomenon. I for one, I was told that when I was conceived, a Mr. Kalibuku, my father's post brother-in-law who died a few years ago appeared in dream to ask Mum for a re-birth. I was therefore named after him. It is a well known fact that If any woman refused that proposal, the child would die once born. It sounds like reincarnation. Hoops! Food for thought!
WHAT ABOUT WHAT WE REGARD AS WITCH POWER IN AFRICA?
There is a lot that I can write about. Things I have heard of and things I have seen happening too. However, my main interest is to try to look through these mysteries and perhaps pick a few clues to discover our blindness.
Our African traditional histories, if well traced back from Nubia, Kemet, and areas around that place, indications are that people exercised powers and had knowledge which is only known to few individuals today. The unfortunate side of the story is definitely how that knowledge is contaminated. I can possibly think that a few who exercise such powers today are only STS individuals, though I believe even the STO could have access to what is good for them. Undoing the web so as to find STO strands, what a task!
