Youtube creator's union?

Video creators angry about Youtube's overbearing control, censorship and gatekeeping of their revenue are looking at legal means to force Youtube to treat them fairly:

From what I have seen the question of whether Youtube creators are really freelancers or are sufficiently dependent on Youtube to warrant employee benefits seems to be a central theme. That topic starts at 7:43 in the video below. I wish I had a transcript to record what is said in the video here:

The Dissenter page on this video is interesting and calls into question whether IG Metall really represents the interests of youtube creators. One comment points out the social justice flavor of the lady's speech and another says that IG Metall was sending them far-left propaganda.

Comments like this are curiously absent from the Youtube comment section.

Personally I noticed the first time I saw the video that the lady's toothy grin seems to pop out at weird moments, which makes it hard for me to trust her.
