Not sure how far this is useful. I started thinking to understand the pattern of geographical location, field etc.
first batch of member list ( scientist etc.) . these scientist have lot of google credentials with papers published etc. looks Ok.


I will not be getting time for another 14 hrs. try to catch up later.

That other company mentioned in the Tony Hetherington ThisIsMoney/Daily Mail article, ASA Global Investments Limited, was ordered in July 2011 by a UK High Court, along with several OTHER fraudulent companies, to be wound up:

Six companies that mis-sold green belt land for investment to the public have been wound-up in the High Court on public interest grounds following an investigation by Company Investigations ("CI") of the Insolvency Service

The investigation found that Stowford Place Investments Ltd, ASA Global Investments Limited, Prinston Estates Limited, Alpha Capital Investments (London) Limited, Greenacre Global Partners Limited and Vinci Trading Ltd had all seriously misled the public as to the development prospects of the plots of land they offered for investment and had operated with a lack of commercial probity.

The companies are linked to earlier land banking companies wound-up on grounds of public interest (see note 10 below) and between them raised nearly £1 million from the public before being closed down on 26 May 2011 by the Service’s actions (see note 8 below).

Welcoming the Court’s winding up judgment Company Investigations Supervisor Chris Mayhew said:

"This sends a clear message to unscrupulous directors; their business will be investigated and where necessary brought before the Courts.

We work closely with other regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Authority and the City of London Police to put a stop to unscrupulous companies that peddle their near worthless schemes to the public using high pressure sales tactics, often to the elderly or vulnerable.

The public should not fall for a slick sales pitch, glossy marketing brochure, fancy websites and promises of easy money - not one of the land banking companies that the Service has investigated and wound up has made a profit for the investor".

The registered office of the company was at Suite 109-111 Davina House, 137-149 Goswell Road, London, EC1V 7ET. The sole recorded director of the company is Mr Andrew Leonard William Foy (from 25 March 2009). The company has no secretary. The company marketed plots of land at similar mark ups on 3 sites at Halifax, Keston and Theydon Bois. Some 10 plots were sold at Halifax raising £104,000, 10 plots at Keston raising some £127,000 and 6 plots at Theydon Bois raising £25,700. It also marketed farm land in Western Australia.

This continues to remind me of the behavioral patterns described in literature describing psychopathology. I recall, that often after this kind of 'sarcasm mode' the next move or tactic would be to play the pity card: look how hard my life has been, I've been through this and that, and now I'm unfairly treated etc.

Yes that is legal. Lot of corporations don't pay dividends. Apple, for example, just announced their first ever dividend. Even though they have been sitting on billions in cash. The idea being that companies and shareholders might prefer that the company reinvests profits to grow the business and increase the stock value rather than use it for dividends. That's standard practice for newer, rapidly growing companies. Obviously that's not the case for Fucilla's companies which don't make money.

Oh, indeed. The Pescara soccer team had quite an hard time in 2007, as it was nearly bankrupt, and continued to have problems for the following years. There was this Mr. Pincione who entered around with 2 million Euros and many expectations for the whole team and fans, but then after a year-long soap-opera of societal diatribes, nothing came out of it.

At some point in april 2007 Mr. Pincione said that he had a group of new investors being able to raise the football/soccer team up to the top 'A' categories in Italy. Video here and here. Pincione told he was in contact with this Mr. Baron via Mr. Fucilla - at the phone in the video - and apparently into the same group there was also a 'Saudi Prince', a certain Khaleed Al Waleed as reported in other articles.

Mr. Pincione, an Italian American living in New York, was coming back and forth from there to Abruzzo, Italy, to follow the team and find fundraisers for that near bankrupt soccer society. At a certain point he was thrown out of the scene in late 2007 or so, Baron&Co disappeared in a few month as they came in during that year, in a flash.
