What's the weather where you are?

We are having +28 +30 C in day time in the South of Siberia this week, so it's very sunny and warm here now. We sometimes have such warm waves from Kazakhstan and enjoy them while they last. :)

Merci pour toutes vos informations Météo...
En France sur la Côte d'Azur après plusieurs très belles journées nous voici avec un ciel gris et chargé, le soleil s'est caché, il fait 23° à l'instant donc les températures jours et nuits sont très douces...

Well, I tried posting photos of our storm damage but it failed. I'll put the photos on FB and then see if that reduces them or something.

Okay, photos on my FB wall.

Here in Macedonia we have another heat wave. Max temperatures goes over 35 C. Its very hard weather. I don't know how to describe it. In the past it have been much warmer but people can live with that, it was not a big problem. This year and especially this last heat wave , people cant stand this heat. Its not all just about the heat.Maybe humidity is higher, i don't know. Something is not as it should be with the weather . Unusually hot weather for a September, but it could change in a few hours. Its very unpredictable.

Store it for winter. :)

It seems that Eastern Europe is much warmer than Western this year. It's been very hot here.

For the past week people were bracing for the effects of T.S. Danny & Hurricane Erika. The deaths and aftermath of the effects on the island of Dominica, http://www.celebtoday.work/news/more-pictures-of-dominica-after-hurricane-errica, put the rest of us in the region on alert. Many islands in the Caribbean have been experiencing drought conditions and we were looking forward to the showers of rain these storm bring. However, after the storms passed Dominca they sort of fizzled out enough for us to have intermittent downpours. No complaints because people's cisterns were drying up along with falling levels of our aquifers by the water delivery trucks. Most do not even realize it is the aquifers that keeps the hillsides green & lush. It is hotter than usual these days, even at nights. Sometimes the heat seems to be coming out of the earth herself. Over here in St. Thomas, our government has allowed the cutting down trees in large numbers for the sake of "development" which is creating heat islands of asphalt & concrete which makes the land even hotter & affects the rain pattern.

Then I read this article on SOTT, http://www.sott.net/article/300960-Study-Jet-of-electric-current-amplifies-space-weather-at-equatorial-regions. Makes me think that our weather patterns are being affected by multiple causes.

NW UK coast, temperature has dropped quite significantly within the last few days and more than a few areas suffered flooding/hail out bursts; it seemed to occur before the storms in Europe, by a day or so, not sure if they're related. It may be the weakened cyclones that have been battering the Pacific? Just a guess.

The wind has definitely shifted from the stuffy night time humidity, to where it's at least 5 degrees lowers and it actually feels cold at night. Quite a shift over a few days.

It was bright this morning, but became 'unsettled' by the afternoon reaching no more than 16C with no rain but very cloudy - feels very much Autumn though the UK tends to have a late blazing summer, so we'll see. I went for a walk in a few layers and the sun was out for minutes at a time, wasn't very warm on the skin, but at least the clouds weren't totally blanketing it out like some days.

Forecasters are warning this weekend will be fairly wild with storms with the average temp 5C lower and potential 0C in some places. following this they say we're due an 'indian summer' (late and hot, i think) but... we'll see!

Croatia, heavy rain fell in most parts of the Kvarner (to 153 mm) and in the interior of Istria. The temperature had dropped 10 degrees.

Italy, area of Naples on Saturday hit a severe storm accompanied by hail that sometimes reached the size of a baseball or apple.

Okay, photos on my FB wall.

Here are a couple of videos of the storm that blew through here:

They don't really do it justice, the storm was intense! Non-stop lightning flashes and 'walls', not 'sheets' of rain!
