Some alt-right news groups are claiming one of the documents cited was a prank started by 4Chan late last fall and given to Never-Trumper pundit Rick Wilson and possibly John McCaine (both of whom may have shared it with the Alphabet Intelligence agencies) to hoax the MSM and anti-Trump groups:

Just spent 10 minutes scanning Twitter. Geezus! It really is getting ugly. That Soros gang is as relentless against Trump as the Vinnie Bridges gang was against me/us. Different scale, but same flavor. It's becoming more and more evident every day that the lefty screamers are a small group of very pathological individuals. The whole situation maps pretty well to what we know about psychopaths and their influence on other deficient individuals as well as on normies who are insufficiently educated/aware.

CNN is still trying to push the story as plausible this morning. As are Charlie Rose and Norah McDonnell over on CBS.

Michael Cohen, Trump's lawyer, says he has proof he was never in Prague. CNN's Jake Tapper says it must be a different Michael Cohen (Guess Trump has 2 Michael Cohens working for him) who met with the Russians that day!!! Friction unbelievable.

Sure hope this is the start of exposing the man behind the curtain.

I spent a good part of the evening last night replying to a lot of the comments and linking them them to the above. It seems the reaction now is 'oh that's propaganda' or '4chan is where breitbart gets its news' or 'It's on the BBC so it has to be real.' :shock:

Demonstrates severe lack of critical thinking abilities. I thought it was fake before 4chan users claimed responsibility, but people are so quick to believe anything nasty about a person they really don't like.
 
The Saker published an interesting article just today about this document floating around with "dirt" on Trump - I think he IS a bit paranoid, but then again maybe not ...

When I first read the document my intention was to debunk it sentence by sentence. However, I don’t have the time for that and, frankly, there is no need for it. I will just provide you here with enough simple straightforward evidence that this is a fake. Here are just a few elements of proof:

1. The document has no letterhead, no identification, no date, no nothing. For many good technical and even legal reasons, sensitive intelligence documents are created with plenty of tracking and identification information. For example, such a document would typically have a reference to the unit which produced it or an number-letter combination indicating the reliability of the source and of the information it contains.

2. The classification CONFIDENTIAL/SENSITIVE SOURCE is a joke. If this was a true document its level of classification would be much, much higher than “confidential” and since most intelligence documents come from sensitive sources there is no need to specify that.

3. The allegation that “The dossier is controlled by Kremlin spokesman, PESKOV, directly on PUTIN’S orders” is beyond laughable. Clearly the author of this fake has no idea how the Russian intelligence and security services work (hint: the Presidential spokesman has no involvement in that whatsoever)

4. On page 2 there is this other hilarious sentence “exploit TRUMP’s personal obsession and sexual perversion in order to obtain suitable ‘kompromat’ (compromising material) on him.” Nobody in a real intelligence document would bother to clarify what the word “kompromat” means since both in Russian and in English it is obviously the combination of the words “compromising” and “materials”. Any western intelligence officer, even a very junior one, would know that word, if only because of the many Cold War era espionage books written about the KGB entrapment techniques.

5. The document speaks of “source A”, “source B” and further down the alphabet. Now ask yourself a simple question: what happens after “source Z” is used? Can any intelligence agency work with a potential pool of sources limited to 26? Obviously, this is not how intelligence agencies classify their sources.

I will stop here and submit that there is ample evidence that this is a crude fake produced by amateurs who have no idea of what they are talking about.

This does not make this document any less dangerous, however.

First, and this is the really crucial part, there is more than enough here to impeach Trump on numerous grounds both political and legal. Let me repeat again – this is an attempt at removing Donald Trump from the White House. This is a political coup d’etat.

Kind of reminds me of leaks in a dam that get worse and worse until the whole thing goes. I can't see where they can allow the inauguration to take place. Too many crimes on too many levels that need to be kept covered.
 
Just a note on the language front here...

The first time I heard the term "fake news" was when election ravaged Hillary Clinton re-emerged on the media-scape to warn the poor, misinformed masses of the inherent dangers of, well, anything that was operating outside of her own propaganda machine. Now, the term was likely out there already, but perhaps Hillary's commentary was its "inauguration," as it were.

Of course, the timing of this inauguration indicated that this was a Neo Liberal tactic to help contain the fallout from "Pizzagate" (another catchy catch phrase) by basically blaming the messenger -- again, given said messenger was operating outside of their propaganda machine. But then what's a decaying monolith of a crumbling and corrupt empire to do? At the end of the day, I mean.

So, anyway, as we've seen, now Trump is hurling the catchy catch phrase back at them -- attributing the term "fake news" to this Russian hacking story. And, I mean, he's got 19.5 million Twitter followers, and he's not even in the White House yet. (Obama, meanwhile, has just 13.3 million.)

So, anyway, now we have come full circle. Yes, apparently the Neo Liberals have decided it's time to "retire" the term since it's been, uh, "tainted" -- you know, by that guy who just got elected president:

Yes that pathology becomes clearer and more apparent by the day. Today I got the "privilege" to listen to a pair of ordinary folks out there and what they had to say about Obama, Trump and Erdogan. Basically an exact repeat of what is spread by "liberal" newspapers and channels in the west.

Basically their conversation went as follows: "Obama was so good, now comes Trump and it is like back then with Hitler. And this Erdogan is so dangerous too!". Many people out there actually think that way!

It was like watching a strange fantasy world and I couldn't help to shake my head mentally and wonder in what kind of surreal world I'm actually living in. I don't even know how to express how much is wrong with statements and discussions like that one.

It is utterly bizarre to watch that parroting of psychopathic propaganda. It is more then just a little disgusting to watch.
