Beautiful Art: architecture, paintings, sculptures, etc

The first hour of this video is a succession of photos of various staircases, which are a simple but profound mechanism for ascending to a higher level by simply taking a step. Though none are particularly spectacular, I enjoyed watching them as kind of meditation on the concept of "the staircase" in esoteric terms ( https://paleochristianity.org/documents/FOTCM_Casswiki.pdf#163 )

To read more about the esoteric meaning of "the staircase", once you go to that link provided, find "Staircase" in the subtopics listed in the menu on the left.

It's not a real rope net, but it's meticulously carved out of marble. "Disinganno" by Francesco Queirolo (1753-1754), Sansevero Chapel (Naples, Italy)

Also in the Sansevero Chapel in Naples: Cristo velato (Veiled Christ) by Giuseppe Sanmartino, carved from a single block of white marble in 1753.
