Sunday April 6th 2014: Armed MadHouse: Interview With Greg Palast

Greg Palast is an investigator of corporate fraud and racketeering turned journalist and a man that members of the 'elite' love to hate. War criminal Tony Blair labeled him a liar, a White House spokesman simply stated "we hate that sonovabitch", but to the rest of us, Palast is one of the most important investigative reporters of our time who deserves our appreciation for his untiring work in exposing the unbelieveable levels of corruption that define modern political and corporate policies.

As part of his investigation into the 2000 US Presidential election, Greg uncovered evidence that Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, and Florida Elections Unit Chief Clay Roberts, along with the ChoicePoint corporation, rigged the ballots in 2000 and that there was widespread election fraud again in 2004.

Palast is the author of New York Times bestseller The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, as well as Democracy and Regulation: how the public can govern essential services, and Armed Madhouse; undercover dispatches from a dying regime. His documentary films include: Bush Family Fortunes, The Assassination of Hugo Chavez, Billionaires and Ballot Bandits and Vultures and Vote Rustlers

His latest book is Vultures' Picnic: In Pursuit of Petroleum Pigs, Power Pirates and High-Finance Carnivores (2012).

Join us this Sunday April 6th, 2014 from 2-4pm EST (11am-1pm PST, 8-10pm CET)

This is definitely a must-listen.
Wow Joe, you, Pierre, Niall, and Jason, are providing a much-needed service in the pursuit of truth.
Keep'em coming. :perfect: :perfect: :perfect:

Excellent!. Looking forward to hearing the show. His Amanzon biography says very interesting stuff.
As the Chicago Tribune said, Palast became a "fanatic about documents--especially those marked "secret and confidential" from the locked file cabinets of the FBI, the World Bank, the US State Department and other closed-door operations of government and industry--which regularly find their way into his hands. The inside information he obtained on Rev. Pat Robertson won him a nomination as Britain's top business journalist.

Your interview with Greg Palast will no doubt turn up some interesting information. I was wondering if at some point, would it be possible to ask Mr. Palast what his views are on a worldwide consortium as it is often discussed here in the forum. If by chance he does see something resembling what might be considered as a consortium, in his view, what are its objectives and even more importantly what is motivating it? Is it simply a drive of conquest, greed or something else?

Another great and informative show, big thanks to SOTT crew and Greg!

Yeah, that was great! I appreciated his high spirits despite the topics he covered.

Yeah, thanks SOTT crew and Greg for a great show!

Greg was such an open and light-hearted guest despite some of the topics he was covering. It was great to hear what he had to say. He had very interesting takes on corporation and those behind the scenes from his experiences.

Thanks to SOTT team and Greg for an excellent show with many insights. Greg has high spirts and humor, moves joyously and courageously around the obstacles to his mission while naturally maintaining both feet on the ground. Well done.

That was AMAZING! Great info (if not surprising), and he was fun to listen to, even though the topics were pretty grim. I guess humor is indeed an important tool against these kinds of things.

Just heard this one, Greg made it very interesting and the funny remarks made it enjoyable. His experience is of great value.
