Hi Cyndi, you do realize these people are mainstream 'artists' who continue to bring out songs that negatively influence people, especially young children? You're certainly free to listen what you want to listen to, but I think that posting such songs isn't really in line with the other songs posted here, which are more appropriate.

Yeah it helps not to post Chart nonsense that we are usually struggling to get out of our heads anyway. Still, gotta admit the chorus is kind of catchy :-[ .

Yea it is kind of catchy, I listened to that song when I was younger. I hope I'm not being too harsh here! :) It is just that seeing how artists like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jay Z etc. bring out songs, the way they perform on the stage, their videoclips etc. and how it has been influencing people (I see that every day), it just makes me sad. Sure, some of them can sing, but pretty much their whole image that they bring out to the world is so ponerized, and young people try to re-enact that behavior to their own detriment.

Once in a while I listen to some popular songs (not from them though), but mostly I try to discover and listen to songs from people/bands that are not that popular, covers, music from 60/70s etc, music that is posted here, classical music, or just some relaxing instrumental music. I find that my mind works much better that way, and it's fun too to discover new music!

Here's a selection of some of the most beautiful and invigorating songs, i have ever heard. I particularly like to sing along (or stretch) and if you attempt it, you may feel some of the light headedness which i reckon is part of the reason for it.

I've been meaning to post them for a while.. i may be totally off, but i can just imagine these styles: the build ups, the harmonies, the moments of chaos (in some of the songs), that they are derived from tradition and finally; the length, because as i mentioned with the breathing, by the end of these songs the performers must literally be vibrating.
