Wrong Link for "Cosmic Spam" on www.cassiopaea.org website?

cassiopaea.org

Hello,

on this page: http://cassiopaea.org/2010/09/14/audio-files/

There are some strange signs to be seen:

And on http://cassiopaea.org/2010/09/14/michael-topper-on-stalking/

When activating the safari reader it loads another article too (Discernment Or Machiavelli and the ETs Part 2 – The World Inside the Devil):

In our previous discussion of Discernment, we have asked two question:

How in the world can we hope to win such a game, played by GameMasters who are clearly so much more powerful than we are?

Or are they?

fwiw

Re: cassiopaea.org

For me everything is working fine, no signs and the site is ok!

Re: cassiopaea.org

The first problem I see, confirmed running Google Chrome on Debian 5.

The second one cannot reproduce, the correct article is loaded.

Hmmm, I cannot replicate that on my browser unfortunately. That is pretty weird though.

Re: cassiopaea.org

Hi,
When activating the safari reader it loads another article too (Discernment Or Machiavelli and the ETs Part 2 – The World Inside the Devil):
I can confirm this. The Safari Reader displays a second page with another article appended while activated (without a second headline).

Explanation is: The Safari Reader tries to display an entire article with all its pages at once so that the user doesn't have to follow links in order to read the article as a whole. The first link beneath the article mentioned above, as you can see, contains the "part two/2" keyword, thus causing Safari "to think" the article is split into two pages at least. Unfortunately and apparently, Safari's current implementation doesn't compare headlines, URLs, etc. in order to prevent this. It is a nice feature which doesn't work perfectly yet. Nobody is bug-free. That's basically what causes such issues and particularly the problem pointed out by Legolas. The WP page itself is okay.

PS: I had problems posting anything this morning & afternoon. It said: Database Error. Server changes again? :(
