Laura to Ark And, we had a talk this evening. I tried to keep it as low-key as possible, but she just seemed determined to turn the whole thing into a control issue. She did not understand a single thing I said. She did not WANT to understand. It was just like talking to L and having every word twisted and thrown back at me. So, finally, I said: let's just drop it for now, and you think about it for a few days, and we will try to discuss it again. She was crying and feeling VERY sorry for herself, and like I was being VERY unfair to her. And I was feeling like my heart was breaking because I could SEE that she was locked inside an illusion and I could not get to her and she is my child and I love her so much that I almost cannot bear to hurt her by making her look at some facts and deal with them. In fact, she is NOT looking at them or dealing with them. She immediately turned on me, her brother and sister, and started accusing them of doing this or that and I talked with them later, and am convinced that she is only judging them by her own internal state which is NOT good. And, Honey... this one REALLY hurts! I love that child so much that it is almost unbearable to see her so far away from me. And I know that the only thing that will bring her back, IF she can be brought back, is for me to be very hard and not give in to her manipulations. And, there is also the possibility that I CANNOT bring her back, or that I never had her, that it was MY illusion. And THAT breaks my heart. So, when it was done, as calmly as possible, which was not TOO calm, but not too bad, either, I was DRENCHED with sweat! It just upset me SO much and I was exerting SO much effort to try to make her understand and see. And, it only came about because she came in and announced that she did not have enough money to get through the next week. And, I was upset because there is nothing I can do about it. And, even if I could, I don't think it would be the right thing to do at this point. I don't think I should subsidize her in this "fast" lifestyle of materialism, revenge and petty meanness. She is like a completely different person than she used to be. The thing that really upset me last week was when she was going to pay some of her "friends" to go a beat up a guy who "insulted" her by going out with another girl. Well, SHE didn't want the guy herself, so I just think this whole attitude and path is VERY negative and has bad energy and I don't know where she has picked up these ideas.... unless it was from being around Patrick and she is now possessed in some way. That is the only thing I can think... but, even THAT is a choice of sorts. How can I interfere if she does not ask for help? If she does not think she NEEDS help to change her choices? So, your HB is VERY unhappy tonight. I would rather cut off my hand than hurt one of my children. But, what she is doing is so self-destructive that it would be more criminal to allow her to continue by subsidizing or tacit approval. Not saying no is as good as saying yes to these kinds of energies. So, all I can do now is pray. So, I did NOT get any real work done as far as typing. But, I did some reading and made some notes, and received an e-mail from Mann... the book is on the way. So, we will have it and see. I also received a nice note from Molly Cochran Murphy who wrote "The Forever King" that I was telling you about some time back. It is sort of like a "grail quest" set in modern times, with all sorts of funny references. She says that writing this book rather scared her because it "wrote itself" from somewhere. So, I thought that this was rather interesting. Now, I had better send this as I see you will soon be coming in. And,
let me see if I can put myself into a better frame of mind so that I can
be more helpful to you and not such a burden. Laura to Ark Honey, I have been looking at my chart, and it LOOKS like this situation with Ali will have a positive outcome. I am just praying so hard. I have to do what is right, no matter how much it hurts me to do it. I never believed in too much physical punishment... that was the sort of thing that was appropriate only in very special circumstances, during a particular age range. Before, it is cruelty, and after it is demeaning... so IF it is used, it has to be very carefully thought about. Unfortunately, L had different ideas and I allowed him to gradually influence me over the years until one day I realized that I was like a frog in a pan of water that was gradually getting hotter and hotter. But, I am hoping for the best. But, not anticipating. In fact, if anything, I feel as if I have lost her, and it is almost like she has died, in a way. Just to realize that she despises me and thinks that I am weak because I do not have vengeful feelings and don't act hard and aggressive. Well, I can be as firm as I need to be, I have learned, but I don't LIKE to be hard. I like to be soft and I like to just give soft love and kisses and feed and nourish. But, like the crab, I will go backwards, and step sideways, and try to close up to avoid some things... but back me into a corner, and I DO have PINCERS! And once those pincers have grabbed onto something, they practically have to be torn off for me to let go!!! Tell me how your night was... did you suffer much in the heat or from the mosquitos? I didn't know they had mosquitos in other parts of the world! I thought that this was a "Florida phenomenon!" But, we don't have many of them anymore because of the "mosquito control" people. Of course, in tropical and sub-tropical places, it can be a REAL problem because of malaria and dengue fever and a couple of other things that are NOT pleasant. I had dengue fever from a mosquito back in 1980, and I hope it confers immunity, because it was certainly one of the diseases from Hell!!! But, I did not mean to wander off on that... see how I babble? I was thinking about the mosquitos biting you ... and that made me think of mosquitos in general... which, of course, makes me think about how BAD they were when I was a child! Even with screens on everything, they were a TORMENT! Especially if there was one in the room and you were trying to sleep! It was enough to drive a person stark raving mad!!! My grandmother used to go around the house every night after everyone was in bed, we had to pull the sheets over our faces, and she had a spray gun with a little wooden handle attached to a long, thin pump rod, and she would spray up in the air all over. And, you could hear the mosquitos dying... they would buzz like an airplane engine that was running out of gas. After awhile, all would be quiet, and you could go to sleep - IF you could sleep in the heat! We had palmetto fans hung on nails by all the beds, and you would fan yourself with this fan until you were cool enough to go to sleep. And, it was a delicate balance to get the right rhythm so that you did not GET hot from fanning... and you had to get your arm set just right so that you could get the maximum air flow without the wrist collapsing!!! It was an ART!!! But, anyway... if I was there, I would spray the mosquitos and fan you until you fell asleep... Ark responds to Laura > But, anyway, all is as fine as can be expected. They do NOT choose between good and evil and make that choice clear. Not saying no is the same as saying yes. And there IS an article in today's Times about the floods... Two columns on page two... BUT, the front page is about a rampaging serial killer that the National authorities have been hunting for months now, who has murdered another rich and prominent homosexual - this time the famous fashion designer Versace, who had a mansion in Miami... Last night I was going through an art textbook from my limited college career - just looking at pictures... and I found a large full color plate of the Shepherds of Arcadia... which I removed and now have before me. And, additionally, there was another St. Anthony there... Matthias Grunewald's. In the lower right corner of this painting, there are the words of St. Anthony inscribed on a scrap of paper which say "Where were You, good Jesus, where were You? Why did You not come to heal my wounds?" And this is a TERRIBLE scene of the saint being chewed on (his hand) and pulled by the hair and all sorts of really repulsive creatures reaching for him. Meanwhile, there is something or someone in a bubble like place in the clouds... I cannot quite make out what it is, but it seems to be holding a staff... Is this the painting given you by the "priory of sion" people that you mentioned? lkj Laura toArk Honey, Let me play Devil's Advocate for awhile so that we do NOT lose our perspective. I don't LIKE to burst bubbles, but you know how I am!! Gotta have the TRUTH, the whole truth and nothing BUT the truth... and once you strip away all the lies, that is what you have. And, most of the lies consist of simply emotion based wishful thinking, as we well know. So, let's try to get some balance on the Rennes-le-Chateau story. What do we REALLY KNOW? The story is: Francois-Berenger Sauniere, eldest son of Joseph Sauniere, mayor of the village of Montazels, born April 11, 1852; on June 1, 1885, was appointed priest at the church of Sainte-Madeleine in Rennes. He remained there for the rest of his life. This is FACT. FACTS: Sauniere contrived to have the church repaired and decorated in a style that incorporates a number of puzzling elements. He had a house built for himself next to the church, the Villa Bethania, which is ostentatiously finer than any other in the village. He built a garden and conservatory and a two story tower, the Tour Magdala. These are the facts. Of them there is no doubt because the buildings Sauniere raised are still there. Now, as to HOW and WHY, it seems that the most of the information all leads back to Gerard de Sede. It is de Sede who tells us that Sauniere's buildings and lifestyle represented an expenditure of over a million francs d'or. But, modern estimates of the value of the construction put it at costing less than 1/50th that amount - and that is stretching it. (Brian Innes) [What is the "proof" of the bank accounts Sauniere was reported to have opened all over Europe? I have read this, but have never seen the proof.] De Sede tells us about the extraordinary decorations, but this is chiefly made up of plaster statues and reliefs supplied by the firm of Ane of Letouzey which supplied the same to many other churches of the time. It is de Sede who "discovers" the drawings of the two stones that Sauniere removed from the graveyard i.e. the gravestones of Marie d'Hautpoul de Blanchefort. The headstone is said to still exist according to a Philippe de Cherisey who says: "This slab was removed from the cemetery in the sight and knowledge of the inhabitants of Rennes, and is now at Carcassonne in the collection of an amateur antiquary, who is not very disposed to exhibit it." The reputed "second slab" still covers a communal grave in Rennes, though it has been broken into pieces by treasure hunters. What about the alleged inscription? The one supposed to have appeared in Eugene Stublein's "Pierres gravees du Languedoc?" It seems that this particular reproduction appears ONLY in the 1962 REPRINT of what is said to be the 1884 edition. It was obviously "manufactured." A book by Eugene Stublein certainly existed. In 1877 he published "Description d'un voyage aux establissements thermaux de l'arrondissement de Limoux," but there is no known copy of the book "Pierres des gravees etc." In the Bibliotheque Nationale des Paris, the name of the depositor of this latter work is given as "Antoine l'Ermite," his address a travelers' hotel in the 17th arondissement of Paris. Just one month prior to the "filing" of this book as "officially published," there was another document "filed" in the Bibliotheque: "Un tresor Merovingien a Rennes-le-Chateau" Its author ALSO is our VERY busy "Antoine l'Ermite." Okay, let's go back a little further! Nine months prior to this, a document entitled: "Les descendants Merovingiens ou l'enigme du Razes Wisigoth" by a "Madeleine Blancasall, translated from the German by Vincent Celse-Nazaire, and published in Geneva under the imprint of the "Grand Loge Alpina." This text is the "original document" tracing the lineage of the Merovingians from their alleged Biblical origins to the 20th century right down to Pierre Plantard. This genealogy is signed by Henri Lobineau. What about this? Well, the church of Rennes is dedicated to the Magdalene, or Madeleine; the spring at Rennes-les-Bains known as the Madeleine is close to the confluence of the two rivers Blanque and Sals; and the church of Rennes-les-Bains is dedicated to Saints Celse and Nazaire. Most CURIOUS that these are ALL incorporated into the names of the author and translator of said "authoritative documents!" But, most significant: The Grande Loge Alpina, the main lodge of Swiss Freemasonry, denies all knowledge of this work. (Brian Innes) Therefore, the "authority" of this suddenly appearing work, which, by the way is nothing but a duplicated typescript, is SERIOUSLY suspect!! Well, in the spring of 1967, a further publication was deposited with the Bibliotheque (which acts as a copyright via its Depot Legal system which establishes a date of publication, though there is no necessity to show that any other than the deposited copy exists), entitled "Le Serpent Rouge." This time three authors are named: Koker, Saint- Maxent and Feugere. Here we run into a funny situation. Saint Maxent and de Koker were found hanged on March 6, 1967, and Feugere was found hanged the following day. The date on the "publication" slip is January 17 or February 15, depending on your source, but it was "officially" declared published on March 20 by the Depot Legal which says it is not very likely to be a delay between deposit and "declaration" via an official date stamp! So somebody was doing some prestidigitation with the dates to make it appear that the dead guys published it BEFORE they killed themselves. Well, were these three guys subjected to a ghastly revenge, or did they have a suicide pact? Or, does it even matter since their names were apparently used AFTER their deaths! One thing is certain: their respective families declare unambiguously that the three were NOT acquainted with each other and certainly had no interest in the subject!!! Well, after all of this depositing of "documents" that underpin an idea... a REAL book gets published by the name of "L'or de Rennes." And WHO is the author? Gerard de Sede! It is to Gerard de Sede that we owe most of the information about Berenger Sauniere and the "mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau that has been made public. It is to Gerard de Sede that we owe the allegation that it is dangerous to enquire too closely into matters connected with Rennes. He cites a Citroen "riddled with machine gun bullet holes" but this is discovered to be an old wreck that had been used by a farmer's son for target practice. (Brian Innes) At the same time that the "L'or de Rennes" is published, ANOTHER document gets deposited at the Bibliotheque! This is called "Dossiers secrets." The principle content of this is a series of genealogical trees, attributed to Henri Lobineau, which establishes Pierre Plantard de St-Clair as a direct lineal descendant of Dagobert II, who was assassinated in 679 and was not known to have any legitimate issue. Lobineau was obviously a pseudonym derived from the Rue Lobineau near Saint Sulpice in Paris, a church that also plays a significant part in the Rennes story. The "Dossiers" suggest that Lobineau is really an Austrian historian named Leo Schidlof, who had died in SWitzerland the previous year; but Schidlof's daughter insists, categorically, that he had neither knowledge of nor interest in, genealogy. So, again, dead men are being used to lend "authority" to rather spurious works. What about this Pierre Plantard de St.Clare? (Who seems to have ADDED the St. Clare to his name rather arbitrarily.) Well, we only know that he was in the "resistance." He is SAID to have been imprisoned by the Nazis... any proof? He was involved with De Gaulle, he edited a journal during the war, a magazine in the 50's and some rather "militia type" duplicated "newsletters." Any ingenious person who set out to forge or fabricate this whole story would find the task a simple one! So, essentially we have NOTHING! Except for the REAL things we have found in other areas as a result of the thinking inspired by this story or idea. So, it seems that this whole story is all made up to cover up something else. And the result is that the "agents of darkness" who attempt to lead astray or obfuscate or throw obstacles in the path, generally only create the result that the TRUE SEEKER uses them as stepping stones! And, through what we know about the "mind control" techniques, and Thor's Pantheon of psychic projectors, it is rather easy to see that all involved in this farcical and transparent drama DID have a part to play in a living allegory for those who can see. And, the funny thing is: some of them may have actually come to believe in the reality of this "dramatic creation" in the sense that they have helped create it!!! But, let's cover a couple of other things first. Philippe de Cherisey, who is reported to be a good friend of Plantard says that there were only 3 parchments and not 4. That these parchments were genealogies and not faked gospels. He says that the faked gospels were of recent manufacture and were designed to "influence" de Sede! And that the text of Jesu medela vulnerum inscribed by Sauniere on the plaque at the foot of the altar was "put to good use" by the author of the fake documents!!! So, do we have some REAL documents, or fake ones? Is the Sauniere story the ONLY thing that is valid here, and all the "dressing" of the Priory of Sion with their faked genealogies and "dossiers" and so forth... just an attempt to either capitalize on an event, or to HIDE something??? Well, there is ONE fact in the middle of all of this: On May 23, 1910, Sauniere was found guilty by his bishop of trafficking in masses and was banned from his duties until 1915! Doesn't sound like something a person would do if he had 1)found treasure 2)learned the "secrets" of alchemy; 3)blackmailed the church. What about the tomb in the Poussin painting? A certain Louis Galibert built a factory to make braids and army boots at Les Pontils in 1880. His grandson erected the tomb in 1903 - LONG after Poussin was dead!!! The property was bought by an American, a Mrs. Rivera. Her son, LAWRENCE covered the tomb deliberately to make it resemble Poussin's painting as an eccentric fancy! Almost nothing of this story can be traced any further back than Gerard de Sede; and much of that is attributable to the "Prieure" documents that have only appeared a little before de Sede's book, and in ALL of it, the hand of Pierre Plantard can be seen. But, there WERE local rumors - which probably inspired Plantard, de Cherisey and de Sede. And there IS an old story of a "Jewish King," of the area who was Theodoric. His son was St. William, Marquess of Septimania, Count of Razes, who became a Benedictine monk and founded the monastery of Gellone. This Theodoric claimed direct descent from the House of David, and from him, Isabel of Angouleme, wife of King John of England, was 11th in descent. So, this is the only REAL and FACTUAL item that is probably the basis of the rumors that fueled this crazy masquerade of the "Prieure de Sion." And, there is another strange hint: more than one of the Grail stories, which we suspect to have had their origin in the Cathars and Templars (the REAL ones), tell that Sir Gawain was overtaken in a terrible storm and took refuge in the Atre Perileus, or Chapel Perilous. Some 30 miles from Rennes is the village of Opoul, probably the lands from which the family d'Hautpoul got its name. There is an ancient, ruined chapel there beneath a ruined fortress that was called "Chateau Perilos," very likely a refuge of Cathars or Templars, or a way station in their escape. So, we can almost assuredly dismiss the main story of Rennes, the significance of any descendants of the Merovingians, and the Prieure de Sion as an elaborate hoax. Yet, there are the stories, the ancient ideas, and SOME small facts of something... And we have found DEFINITE clues of a REAL sort in the Bible, in certain numbers and names that recur with surprising frequency, and in the myths and stories of the ancients as well as tracking word roots etc. And, of course, NOTHING could be more amazing than the events and PROOFS in our own lives, including LONG published, out in the open genealogies! There IS some strange mystery about Poussin, and I think I have found the REAL clue... but it is certainly not based on some "planted" documents, but rather on WELL known and long published information, which is as it should be - even if it has not been related or assembled. And, I think there is something important about the D'Hautpoul family or lands, and the "Et in Arcadia Ego," thing. But, because of the D'Hautpoul's and Poussin, and NOT because of Berenger Sauniere or Dagobert, or this ridiculously transparent Pierre Plantard and Prieure de Sion that he has created to make himself important!!!! I hope it cools off there a little! It was over 90 here today. I tried to read on the porch, but it finally got so hot I had to come inside. I did some laundry, monitored the cleaning of the bedrooms, made tea for Anna, who is sick with a head cold, and worried about Ali... who is not home, but DID call saying she was at Jeff's and would be home soon. So, I am sure that she is discussing all with him. And, he seems to have a level head, of all her friends, the most level... But, I am not going to cave in, that's for sure!!! So, that was why I decided to clean and do laundry. It always helps me to do some sort of physical work when I am in that hopeless feeling.
