A new song I made

I made a new composition that i'd like to post here, who knows, you might enjoy it.

That's a really nice piece of work, Ed!
I like the mild jazzy percussion, and the kick in (that's a light overstatement in case of ambient :) ) at 1.26.
I found the flute to be played in a somewhat bluesy manner? Don't know anything about flute music itself, but seems like this one is outside of the typical flute melody.

P.S.Do you know Biosphere?
 
The flute isn't really a regular flute - it is a romanian instrument called "tilinca". The structure is like of the flutes(with a whistle blower) but there are no holes to play on. The only hole is through the flute(it's elderberry so it has this sponge like core it is easy to get it out). So when you sing you just have to blow the whistle and control the notes by just putting you finger at the other hand. The harder you blow the higher it sounds.

The thing is, it has to be long enough, and it's very easy to make one. I did some.

Thanks for the background info, I might look for some folk music with tilinca.

Regarding Biosphere, I'd recommend more recent albums, like Substrata or Microgravity, but you'll see for yourself if you like :)

It is my performance. But I didn't registered the song for copyright, and I have no idea if the harmonic combination is authentic(i tell this because it is a huge river of songs nowadays and you can find similar tones like the one i did). But yea, I use a production software, I have a microphone, a guitar and a collection of flutes so I am trying to do something in the way i can. At the moment I am not in a group/band because it is a little bit difficult to find someone here who has similar preferences in music.
