Hello everyone,

Here's the links for today's workshop. Video and Audio. And the link to the Folder.

Next Sunday we will be covering Chapters 1 & 2.

Life and Afterlife – Introduction

This was a short introductory discussion on higher spiritual realities and how what we see and experience after death is based on who we are and our frequency/being, but that this is rationalized away by skeptics and discarded as nonsense by scientific materialists. Intuitive/more right-brain oriented people are more likely to believe and be open to the ideas and concepts of spiritual and/or higher dimensions. However, this intuitive sense and knowing can easily be clouded by modern life and modern living.

Music is used as an example. If a group of tone-deaf people hear music as noise, they would very well push the idea that the rest of humanity is lying or delusional for believing that music exists and develop groups that are dedicated to debunking music altogether. There are people who are argue against objective truth because they cannot or will not strive to understand deeper realities. How do you explain true joy or empathy to a psychopath?

If you have faith, no proof is needed, but also, even if you are provided all the evidence in the world to the existence of higher realities, it may not reach certain people as it can often be more an intuitive, felt, or sense of understanding instead of seeking outside validation. Belief based on subjective, wishful thinking is entropic, whereas belief in objective truth can be empowering.

The mainstream is trying very hard to squash belief in higher realities and gaslight people who have this awareness. Denying the paranormal can also become a denial of spiritual qualities such as love, harmony and beauty that cannot be measured materially. Even conceptions of love can change over time and grow in understanding and expansion. A basic conception of love that is ego-centric or hormone based can eventually come to encompass more, such as Paul's letter on Love. To know someone is to really love them.

William James' transmission theory of consciousness is that it operates outside the brain and works through the brain as a signal reacting with a receiver. Such as the C's suggestion that genes act as an antenna.

Prescott wants to prove the existence of higher realms but seeing as there is no smoking gun proof, evidence is derived from wide variety of human experiences – apparitions, NDE's, etc. Which all point to an overarching theory that consciousness survives after death of the body.

Parapsychology is continually trying to refine processes to convince skeptics, but this may be futile due to the entrenchment of certain materialist beliefs. Healthy skepticism is normal, but as long as your aim is to know what the truth is.

Thank you for this excellent and insightful summary Turgon. You are a gifted writer and have managed to capture not only the key discussion points but also the essence of the book and the conversation.
With gratitude

This is the article on the new type of magnetism which whitecoast had posted elsewhere-
...Altermagnets have a special combination of the arrangement of spins and crystal symmetries. The spins alternate, as in antiferromagnets, resulting in no net magnetisation...hence the name altermagnets.
This third magnetic sibling offers distinct advantages for the developing field of next-generation magnetic memory technology, known as spintronics. Whereas electronics makes use only of the charge of the electrons, spintronics also exploits the spin-state of electrons to carry information.

Although spintronics has for some years promised to revolutionise IT, it's still in its infancy. Typically, ferromagnets have been used for such devices, as they offer certain highly desirable strong spin-dependent physical phenomena. Yet the macroscopic net magnetisation that is useful in so many other applications poses practical limitations on the scalability of these devices as it causes crosstalk between bits -- the information carrying elements in data storage.

More recently, antiferromagnets have been investigated for spintronics, as they benefit from having no net magnetisation and thus offer ultra-scalability and energy efficiency. However, the strong spin-dependent effects that are so useful in ferromagnets are lacking, again hindering their practical applicability.

Here enter altermagnets with the best of both: zero net magnetisation together with the coveted strong spin-dependent phenomena typically found in ferromagnets -- merits that were regarded as principally incompatible.

Hi everyone,

McGilchrist does not cover the late Middle Ages & delves straight into the Renaissance after the fall of Rome. We detour into exploring this period in time.

Coming out of the Dark Ages, after the collapse of the (Western) Roman Empire, there was an explosion of knowledge which manifested in many ways. Suddenly, Gothic Cathedrals appear in Europe, along with Grail stories, the concept of courtly love, the Templars, Sufism, the Cathars, the Troubadours and Gregorian chants. We explore some of these topics and the possible hidden allusions in Grail stories to cyclical catastrophes in Carlson's series.

We will continue with Ch 9: The Renaissance and The Reformation up to the Reformation subheading (p 313) for our next workshop on Saturday at 7 pm Sydney daylight savings time (GMT +11).

See you all then!

Hi all,

The Am-EU group finishes chapter 1 of Michael Prescott's Life & Afterlife. Turgon collated the audio and video for this meeting.

We're trying something a little more visual this time with the meeting summary. Zoom has this whiteboard feature called a mind map to organize discussion around central points, with the ability to branch from them. The idea is that parent nodes start out more general, with child nodes providing more exposition to its parent nodes. In other words, we start with major themes of the chapter and progress to more specific points of discussion.

I've attached the mind map below in both PNG & the smaller-sized PDF.

For Next Meeting - March 24th, 2024

We will continue with chapters 2 & 3 of Life & Afterlife for the next workshop. See y'alls next Sunday!

Hi everyone,
Here’s the meeting ID for the Au-Asia-Am meeting. We will start in 55 minutes. :-)
Thanks Arwenn! Another interesting and productive meetup!

Keit mentioned the idea of STO walk-ins towards the end of the meeting, and here are some relevant session excerpts that support the idea that the 'inflow' of information during such historical eras could include 4D STO souls who have specific missions in mind:

Session 10th June 1995 said:
A: Strangers among us refers to the phenomenon identified by Ruth Montgomery as "Walk-Ins."
Q: (L) But, you have said in previous sessions that this rarely occurs.
A: Rare is relative.
Q: (SV) Ruth Montgomery also said that sometimes walk-ins don't realize who or what they are.
A: Rare also may be transitory in nature.
Q: (J) You mean walk in and walk back out again?
A: No. Frequency is not necessarily static according to the time line, as you measure time.
One way to interpret this is that certain times in history, such as the Renaissance, may have much more walk-in activity than usual.

Q: (T) I have not done a lot of research on walk-ins, what is the definition of a walk-in?
A: A walk-in, as described by Ruth Montgomery, is a soul that has chosen to take over the body that was vacated by another soul that has chosen, at some level of awareness, to depart for varying reasons. In this way, a higher level entity can enter into the body that was previously occupied by a different level entity, in the form of a soul, that is to say.
Q: (T) A fourth level soul can then enter the body of a third level?
A: Or perhaps a fourth level soul... remember, as we have described to you before, levels one through four, more appropriately density levels one through four, all involve short wave cycle recycling, or, as you refer to it, reincarnation. Because, each and every one of these density levels has a soul and a physical body marriage, as it were, in progressive life experiences. Each and every one of these density levels involves movement to the fifth level of density for contemplation during the cycling process. It is level six, which is the first level where short wave cycle recycling is no longer necessary because there is no more physical orientation. Therefore, all levels, one through four have a soul reflection of the physical body at all times when in physical state. And, therefore, reincarnation of various types, is at various points on the short wave cycle always possible, and, in fact, quite probable. Do you understand?
Q: (T) Somewhat. That's a lot to digest. (J) So, physicality is involved in levels one through four short wave recycling. (L) So, this means that a fourth density being can recycle through fifth density into a third density body?
A: That is one method that can be used, yes.
Q: (L) Can it also be that they can come directly from fourth density into a third density body, just as one of the options?
A: Yes.
Q: (T) As a walk in. (L) And either could be considered a walk in?
A: That is correct.

Q: (T) I'm going off on a tangent on what we have been discussing here... what happens to the soul that's in the body that the walk in takes over? Where does that go?
A: Most likely to the fifth level for recycling and contemplation.
Q: (T) And then returns?
A: Returns, yes.
Session 4th April 2015 said:
Q: (L) Okay. Well, that's enough of that. I have another question here. The other question that people were a little curious about on the forum that I noticed was: they wanted to know at what age or stage of development does the soul of an individual enter into the body of a baby that's about to be born?
A: It cannot be set in stone; remember that about half of all babies never house individualized souls. In some cases it can be very early, and others, as late as early adulthood.
Q: (Pierre) Wow.
(Galatea) So I guess they're waiting around the body's frequency to change.
(L) So, is that true? A soul can be hanging around, and there's, say for example, a body that's close to the frequency they need, but not quite, and they have to wait until something happens or changes?
A: Yes
Q: (L) What can change frequency?
(Perceval) Experience.
(Pierre) Knowledge.
(L) Yeah, puberty, thought, experience.
A: Yes
Q: (L) Perspectives change via experience I think.
A: Yes

Q: (Galatea) Awareness of something?
(L) All kinds of things can change frequency.
(Galatea) Does that mean it's possible for something else to take over the body in the meantime?
A: Yes
Q: (Galatea) Does it get kicked out when the soul comes?
A: Yes
Q: (L) Well, you once talked about things like vaccinations and things changing the frequency, which causes negative potentials. Does that factor into this process?
A: Yes
Q: (Galatea) Can a soul literally get kicked out of a body if the frequency is not matching the soul?
A: Yes
Q: (Galatea) You can be made into a soulless monster eventually!
A: Yes
Q: (Chu) And technology would have the same effects as we've seen...
A: Yes
Q: (Perceval) Is that why there are these people who go for operations and then they wake up with a different personality or speaking a different language...?
A: Yes

Q: (Pierre) For an individual, when the soul attaches to the body or leaves, is it noticeable?
(Perceval) That's what I just said.
(Chu) Yeah, sometimes.
A: Sometimes. The individual may notice inside or an observer may notice.
Q: (L) So, people can change, and sometimes even change dramatically?
A: Yes

Q: (Galatea) Can a person hold more than one soul sometimes?
A: Yes
Perhaps the psychic/consciousness 'body' plays a role here as well; a person may be 'adequate' in terms of physical capabilities for soul habitation, however unless the psychic/consciousness energy is developed to a certain level as well, the genetics/FRV may not be suitable for the soul to 'marry with'.

Session 28th December 2019 said:
Q: (L) In this recent book I read about Paul, it basically exhibits what Paul was seeing or perceiving in his visions, or his conversations, or his channelings with Jesus I guess you'd call it. It's pretty much what we have received via this communication. Now, this guy interprets righteousness as absolution. I would like to ask about this absolution/righteousness issue. What did Paul actually mean?
A: Something rather like what you and others have experienced as "cleansing" or "opening" of the conscience as Gurdjieff described it.
Q: (L) So in other words, this getting "saved" or "made righteous" or having absolution or whatever is not necessarily an instantaneous thing?
A: Exactly. But it can be in rare instances.
Session 30th December 2023 said:
(L) But anyway, it has been one hell of a year, and I think we all know that, as I have said on many occasions, it can't go on forever. I mean, it just keeps getting worse and worse, but it can't go on forever. Andromeda wants to know when it's gonna come to a head?
A: First there must be a cleansing.
Q: (L) And what exactly is a cleansing?
A: Wait and see.
Q: (L) Will this cleansing occur in 2024?
A: In spaces.
Q: (L) "In spaces"... You mean like in some places and not others?
A: Yes
Gives a whole new dimension to the idea of 'mass awakening'!

Thanks for the Cs sessions Ryan, very interesting indeed! Our discussion of the masters of the Renaissance reminded me of the connection between music & architecture in The Afterlife Unveiled by Stafford Betty:
The Afterlife Unveiled said:
Music is the supreme art form…Benson tells us that sound and light are intimately connected in the spirit world – so much so that, as he puts it, all music is colour, and all colour is music. The one is never existent without the other. That is why the flowers give forth such pleasant tones when they are approached. … The water that sparkles and flashes colours is also creating musical sounds of purity and beauty. Since light and sound are always found together, is it possible to control light in the process of making music? It is, and musical architecture is the result. We see an example of this in an open-air concert that Benson attended: The musical sounds sent up by the orchestra were creating, up above their heads, this immense musical thought-form, and the shape and perfection of this form rested entirely upon the purity of the musical sounds [and] the purity of the harmonies.
A composer, we are told, can build a majestic form as grand as a Gothic cathedral
…Scientists are plentiful, and much of their time is spent trying to understand better the incredibly complex laws of their own new world. Others seek to transmit (telepathically) to earth the discoveries they have made that will help it. Benson claims that the earth world has the spirit world to thank for all the major scientific discoveries that have been made throughout the centuries. In fact the spirit world is far ahead of earth, so far that certain discoveries are withheld until a time that they would not be misused by unscrupulous people.

So perhaps this time in history following cataclysms & pestilence, the environment was right for downloads via the information field either through viruses from the plague, or telepathic transfer or walk-ins. A Cambrian explosion of knowledge on many fronts all at the same time (art, music, architecture, engineering, science & exploratory voyages that circumnavigated the Earth). The engineering feat of the dome of the Florence Cathedral is an example of design & engineering that had never been attempted before. Simply fascinating!

Cross posting from another thread, our discussion last week on the topic of Gregorian chants, had me thinking of the band Enigma as I mentioned tonight, who used a sample of the Gregorian chant Procedamus in Pace in their popular 90’s song Sadeness part 1. The song is based around the perversions of the Marquis de Sade.

Following the progression of plainsong in Early Christianity, to Gregorian chant in Medieval times, to classical music & opera in the Renaissance is also a very interesting topic, one we could explore further before getting into the Reformation, if that suits eveyone:
