Hemochromatosis and Autoimmune Conditions

In my country its commonly known as Green Clay. Its mostly silica (44%) and aluminum (13%). Aluminum is in safe oxide form which cannot be absorbed by the body. I researched it thoroughly before I started using it and this is what all sources confirm. Chelated iron and other metals can cause constipation though so enemas might be beneficial.

Because many of us ordered the book simultaneously this might have dried up world ressources of a book that probably prior to that didn't sell much anymore ...

I see. The price is about the same as what I paid from one of the Amazon booksellers. I hope this place wasn't taking orders thinking copies were available when they weren't!

Has anyone asked Iron Overload Disorders Association about how to obtain the book? If not, I may do that when I have a chance.

Well that now seems a big possibility for the delay. Would think they would send a notice or something - will write them back.

I emailed the people at the site where this book is being sold on Sunday, asking them if they were out of books, what was the cause of delay in people getting the books, etc. I haven't heard a thing from them. I, also, haven't ordered the book yet. I was waiting for an answer before doing so.

I got my test results back, and I THINK I'm in the normal range?

I think that is spot on ...

So I just got off the phone with the people at www.bookch.com and asked them if they knew the status of orders going out for The Iron Elephant. They said that they shipped out yesterday (from New York) and that people should be getting them in a week or so. I guess we'll see.

Did anyone order from another site?

Iron overload for sure. Says here in the book (Exposing the Hidden Dangers of Iron):
The percentage of transferrin saturation is calculated by dividing serum iron by TIBC and multiplying by 100%.

So if I did this right, my transferrin saturation is 15%?

I'm hoping this means I can keep all my blood right where it is?

It's right there in the results - "Iron saturation" (15%).

A little high on the ferritin I think. That is about where mine was. Latest test got it down to 38 via one blood donation and one short round of EDTA.

As far as I can see, the green clay sources I found also contain iron something about 5gr/100gr so eventually it could be then a +/- thing imo if it chelates iron too. Nonetheless again thanks and I may check out other clay sources and what they contain.

Intriguing ... what form of Vitamin C do you take and what exactly happens when you take it?

I don't take any at all, or eat any food that contains Vitamin C. Supposedly I have a VERY rare genetic trait that lets me make my own Vitamin C from meat, especially fish and other seafood?

and what exactly happens when you take it?
A tiny bit can make me turn red and itch like crazy, a lot and I can't breath.

I was told that my very first bottle of OJ as a baby almost killed me, I had to be hospitalized.
