Sott slower, FB "sharer" acting funny

I notice lately that the Sott website is very slow to load on my computer. I don't think it's my laptop because it's the only site that does this. Also, the FB sharer is misbehaving as well. Over the past few days my connection speed (as in time to get onto the site) has been slow. It has about ground to a halt now. I have rebooted the router. Hasn't helped though. Computer is started again every day. Any ideas?

You could check your local ISP traceroute to see where
the sott.net route is dropping. Then if possible, locate
a online traceroute close to your area/region to see how
routing responds from a different routing pathway. You
could also contact your ISP and ask them to check out
routing - perhaps they can assist you.

In my case, I noticed that routing was dropped from
Portland, OR to Washington DC (cogentco.com), so
I fired off a "complaint" email to them but I am not
holding my breath... perhaps I am under watch by
the PTB :scared: OR maybe it's no big deal and the
problem goes away. :cool2: I'll just wait for a few days
and if I still have the problem, I will contact my ISP.
