What are you listening to?

That's funny, I was listening to this "Mongolian Throat Singing" song, which I find kind of catchy and moving, and I don't remember if I might have heard it in this thread originally: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rmo3fKeveo

I was wondering if the song was referring to Genghis Khan, and someone in the youtube comments did post the lyrics, about Genghis Khan, it seemed like something of a deification. If they are old folk songs it makes sense enough, and perhaps to some of the singers Genghis put Mongolia 'on the map,' as it were, by preventing it from being invaded and overtaken by its neighbors, so they feel a sense of national pride due to him.

So the lyrics, at least, may be hard for other cultures to relate to, but still I find it understandable. Regardless the music is alright.

Hello diligence,
When I listening to the "Mongolian Throat Singing" it sound as calling 'Genghis' in few place.

And "Mongolian music- healing soul spirit song" repeating the word 'Te Jin' . This is only my guess.
The word 'Tejin' is a short version of Genghis Khan's original name of Temujin.

So, if my guess is right, listening to such kind of music is unknowingly leads to participate in worships Genghis Khan.
I have to be careful and need to research more...

That does sound possible, especially considering unconscious effects of listening to things repeatedly, particularly music which we respond to emotionally. If I remember right, the C's did mention something to the effect of knowing what the music does, or what it is about, might help to mitigate effects, if that helps.

I guess I am less worried about it because I often wonder about the sources of any irritability that might arise in me, and I am more or less constantly surrounded by either aggressive music or simplistic music. Sometimes I get away with listening to an older or softer song and other people's visible reaction to me is kind of like my private reaction to their music.

I am the question that cannot be answered
I am the lover that cannot be lost
Yet small are the gifts of my servant the soldier
For time is my offspring, pray what is my name?

My name is death, cannot you see?
All life must turn to me
Oh, cannot you see?
And you must come with me
You must come with me

I'll give you gold and jewels rare
And all my wealth in store
All pleasure's fair
If I may live but a few short years more

Oh lady, lay your jewels aside
No more to glory in your pride
Tarrying here there is no way
Your time has come that you must away
And you must come to clay
