Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

That person claiming to be his father might be a fake too. As far as I remember, he described his father as a pretty bad person: some sort of bully. And even if it is his father (assuming what he said about his father is true) he is probably not very trustworthy.
Info asked by supposed father easily obtained via Chilean sites that link to data in the centralized Registro Civil.

I found Gonzalo's national ID number by his full name from the Spanish wiki page on him along with the complete names of mother and the supposed father who wrote the message. From that, the parents of each parent can be found.

Criminal delusion, in the best case.

From the Economic Forum FB announcement, slightly rephrased and translated:

On Tuesday last week, the VII European Congress of Local Governments took place in north-eastern Poland. During one of the discussion panels all participants made a declaration. The politicians agreed to the possibilities and importance of forming the Polish-Ukrainian Union. They pointed out that this is already, informally, happening through open houses of Poles for all refugees from Ukraine.

The difficult history of both nations has lost its importance in the face of the need to unite. In the context of the economic opportunities that the union could bring, Volodymyr Zelenski's words were quoted about the need for the establishment of a Polish-Ukrainian union and that there are 80 million Poles and Ukrainians together - as many as there are Germans.

As if there was not enough pathology in Polish politics, they are eager to drown the country in monstrous economic and oligarchic pathologies, Nazi ideology and even deeper hatred toward Russia. Perfect way to fix of the poor Polish position in the world, yeah right.

And, like I said, it's not just an ethical issue, or one of 'strategic enclosure'. It's simply not true that the single common denominator of the world's problems is Jewish people. I thought we'd ironed this out - especially to long-time forum members like yourself - years and years ago.
I don't think she's pointing a finger at the Jews, but rather the Khazars, who have great potential for good or evil. But yes, the hypersensitive Jews will take offense. Even when this info, if true, could assuage, to some extent, the perceived responsibility of Jews for many trespasses against humanity.

I think I am going the read "The 13th Tribe" by Albert Koestler to gain some insight into Khazaria. Koestler is fairly brilliant and It's nice to have an excuse to read another of his books. There was a lot of upset and controversy over his book, and many offended Jews when first published. Some claim to have disproved his thesis. But even if some of the information in the book is not quite correct, I'm sure that it would be a good book to get familiar with the background history of Khazaria during the time in question.

So yeah I’m not buying or understanding his reasoning for not using existing accounts or posting a short video - the excuse in both cases is vague and incoherent and makes no sense to me. This is usually the “tell” of a scam/impostor. I think real Gonzalo is more logical and smarter and more coherent than that, but I suppose we shall see.
Agreed. All he has to do is post a short video stating the date and acknowledge he's been absent for the last few days. No need to show his location or a newspaper - he can use a neutral background like he usually did. For a guy who loved to appear on camera that would have seemed his first choice to tell the world he was fine. So until proven otherwise, I'll consider this fake. I wonder if this is an attempt to calm people down because they realize they have made a martyr out of him - not good for Ukranian PR.

Kherson Region In The South Of Ukraine On Its Way To Peace
Russian soldiers raised the Victory Banner on the Walk of Fame (monument to soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War) in Kherson
By today, artillery strikes by the AFU and the Russian Army on the border areas of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions continue. However, no successful offensive operations have been carried out by the sides . The Russian Armed Forces are striking targets in Mykolaiv and south of Nikopol with cruise missiles and respond to any attack of the AFU with artillery shelling. Meanwhile, the city of Kherson, which is under the Russian control, is back to normal, local businesses are working, slowly restoring links with the Crimean Republic, as well as other Russian regions. Civilians get significant aid from Russia.
Russian troops took control over the city of Kherson on March 2 almost without street fighting. The city is currently preparing to rebuild and to reopen factories. Companies will continue to work in Kherson.
Security operations continue in the city and around the region.
On April 21, the special forces of the Russian Federal Security Service raided the area on the Kherson outskirts. As a result of the special operation, weapons were found in several private houses. The AFU army had left ammunition in the buildings of local residents during their retreat. The operation was carried out with the use of the FTA-5901 «Viking», an armored vehicle based on the KAMAZ-4911 «Extreme». KAMAZ «Extreme» is a special version for the Dakar rally, while “Viking” is an armored version weighing 22 tons.

Previously, Russian servicemen uncovered the headquarters of the so-called Ukrainian territorial defense in a local school. During their surrender, the AFU left the ammunition, medical supplies, weapons, and equipment there. The school director said that Ukrainian armed forces dressed in civilian uniforms occupied the school on February 24. They immediately brought boxes and equipment into the building and ordered the school management to leave the premises.
Russian security forces also discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition at the «Pallada» military plant in Kherson, presumably left by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Some of the members of the Ukrainian territorial defence voluntarily hand over their weapons to the Russian military. A big number of arms and explosives were distributed to local civilians in February. They were called to fight against the Russian Army. As a result, a lot of them are still armed. The disarmament of civilians in the region continues.

The man handed over all the weapons he was provided by the AFU and called on other former members of the territorial defence to follow his example. During his interview, he also called on the end of the bloodshed between the fraternal Slavic peoples and confirmed that the situation in the region is calm, Russian soldier are polite and people should not trust the news spread by the Kiev authorities.

On April 20, pro-Russian blogger Vladimir Kuleshov was killed in Kherson. One of the main Ukrainian nationalist propagandists Anton Gerashchenko confirmed the murder of the blogger. Citing anonymous sources, he claimed that the victim added Russian forces.

Kherson is slowly returning to peaceful life. The industrial sector is on its way to renew local production, agricultural works resumed. However, security in the city is still under threat, as caches of weapons and ammunition are still being discovered, which poses a considerable danger to the civilians who share different political views. The situation in Kherson is an example which should be compared to the city of Mariupol and the Kiev region. Despite some battles in the region at the beginning of the operation, no one accused the Russian troops of genocide and the city was not damaged.
At the same time, the region is facing a political vacuum, as it is unclear what Moscow’s plans in the region are. Russia will not allow the Kiev regime to regain control of the region, because it is of strategic importance. At the same time, the Kremlin and local authorities have yet to clarify the future of the region.

Thanks Mark7 for the link, will start reading it today.

Good point, it could shift the conversation towards “is this the real Gonzalo, how can we know” and turn him into an invisible “Q” like figure, if enough people just blindly trust it and stop talking about the potential blatant murder of a US/Chile citizen. This is also probably why, if he was captured and killed, they didn’t show/leak proof yet. It is one thing to kill random civilians in the fog of war, blame it on Russia and let people fight it out and figure it out what’s going on. It’s quite another to kill a very popular figure, and flaunt the proof of your barbarism, which would be much more difficult for the west to blame on anyone else except Zelensky nazis thugs. Even if the proof is released anonymously with no self-incriminating imagery, it becomes incredibly clear who, what, and why. Let’s face it he wasn’t the victim of a random street mugger, who filmed it, and releases footage later. No one would doubt exactly what happened there. And that could open a can of worms they may not be able to weasel their way out of easily. Then again - there’s some serious Geneva convention violating footage out there with zero consequence so maybe they aren’t too worried. The west has a way of dealing with clear violations like this - just ignore them, pretend they don’t exist.

Then again, I could be giving them too much credit - I mean let’s face it, they’re impulsive murderous nazis, they aren’t exactly the most thoughtful and analytical representatives of humanity, so if the worst did happen, we may yet see the proof if no one higher up stops it from leaking. They would love to flex and intimidate others, and that urge may overpower other considerations.

I don't know what to make of it either. I hope it's him. He apparently created this new Twitter account and has been posting since last night (anyone can tell what that image is about?):
In the picture Alana quoted from twitter there is 'Belarus' written on an item at the bottom (and some Cyrillic further up, is this Belarusian?). Maybe that's an hint where he is. But then, why would he not just say it directly, if this is real at all.

I have not seen this story here, which I want to bring along with an article that explains what is happening on the video quite well. The heroine of the video, an elderly resident of a Ukrainian village, has become one of the symbols of the national spirit and our future victory in Russia.

A grandmother with a Soviet flag – why an elderly resident of Ukraine has become so popular in Russia

The soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made an evil joke on the pensioner and took her on video. The video was scattered on the Internet, and the woman became a real symbol of the Russian spirit.

Poems are dedicated to this grandmother, she is painted on the walls and even embodied in sculptures. To begin with, I will show and describe the video.

"My parents died for this flag"
In the frame is a private house made of brick. In the foreground is a pensioner in a sweater, hat and glasses.

- Can you say "Glory to Putin, glory to the Russian troops"? – A man's voice sounds off-screen.

- No, - grandfather waves his head. - I won't say anything.

- Yes, your wife was just saying…

We still don't understand who remains behind the scenes, but at this moment we recognize the characteristic Ukrainian dialect. The camera shifts to the fence, a gate opens there. The hostess comes out.

- Vo, vo, meets grandma, - comments the person behind the scenes.

In the hands of a pensioner - a shaft with a red flag coiled on it.

- Well, unwrap this rag. Unfold the banner, unfold the banner," the person behind the scenes addresses the grandmother with ostentatious approval. - Come on. In, in, in…

At this moment, the viewer has no doubt: a Ukrainian is talking to the old people. But we still don't understand how he treats the elderly and the flag in the hands of a pensioner. Did he come with good? Or sneers at the elderly?

- Were you waiting for us? – The man asks.

- We were waiting, of course. Very much waited. And they prayed for you. And for Putin, and for the whole nation, - the grandmother answers. By the intonation, by the voice, you can hear that she is glad of a sudden visitor. I'm very glad.

"We prayed for you," the old lady says, not understanding the trick.
- Right now I'll thank you for what you've been waiting for. Come on, we'll give you the groceries.

- You need to. You need it," the old lady waves her hand, refusing the treat. A flag with a hammer and sickle in the corner is already flying in her hand.

- Yes, not, the main thing is that you... for the Russian world, keep it. For Putin," the man takes out the groceries from the bag and hands them to the pensioner.

Now we see more, now the soldier's hand is in the frame. On the uniform is a chevron with a trident. We understand for sure that a Ukrainian soldier came to the old people. And he grins at the owners.

- Hold it, hold it. Keep the whole package. Glory to Ukraine! – Suddenly the soldier says.

Grandma still does not understand what is happening and asks in confusion:

"And who are you?"

The wind begins to blow, and the answer is not heard. But events are developing eloquently. Giving the pensioner a package, the soldier took the flag from her. Now he has thrown him to the ground and is trampling on him.

A soldier trampled the Soviet flag in front of old people
An elderly woman puts the groceries back in the bag. Puts it on the ground, returning it to the "givers".

- My parents died for this flag. And you stepped on it," she says sadly.

"Sons" trampled the Victory flag
Probably, the video was leaked to the Internet by the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine themselves. In Russia, he turned out to be super-popular. If you tell someone "grandmother with a Soviet flag" - the interlocutor will immediately understand who you are talking about. Because it is impossible not to notice the numerous news about the grandmother from Ukraine.

A few days have passed, and poems dedicated to grandma have already been flying on the Internet.

This is not a fragile grandmother at all,

This is the conscience of bygone centuries.

She is every Russian's mother,

The strength of the spirit is stronger than shackles.

Sergey Algin

Sons, dear ones, guys!", -

Grandma went to meet me,

Seeing soldiers in the courtyard.

She and her grandfather were so waiting for them!

I was waiting in a bombed-out mud hut

In the basement without food, drink.

And here in the hands of a tin can...

But here... "Wait! You can't do that!"

Natalia Averina

These are just the first poems about the famous grandmother. There are already a lot more of them. Voronezh craftsmen made a sculpture of this Ukrainian woman. And in many cities of Russia, her portraits are painted on the walls. In different styles – in the form of paintings, in the genre of graffiti.

Why did Grandma become so popular? This can be explained.

A full-fledged dramatic plot
Firstly, the video with her is ideal from the point of view of drama. (I'm not evaluating the situation right now, but I'm evaluating exactly the plot that got on the video). It has a beginning, a climax and a denouement.

The tie is the part in which the soldier offers the hostess to unfurl the flag and hands her the products. We understand that something is wrong here, there is a clear catch.

The climax – the military reveals the cards. He's not who the woman thought he was. He tramples on the Soviet flag. At this moment, we are waiting with trepidation for the end of the story.

Denouement – a pensioner refuses food and responds to a soldier.

A little more than a minute, and the viewer has time to experience different emotions: interest, surprise, bewilderment, fright…

All these elements are the law of drama.

And then there are the characters. There is a soldier who does not dare to cause physical harm to a pensioner, but sneers at her. There is an elderly woman who keeps a shrine – the flag with which the Soviet army fought against the fascists. Pronounced characters are also part of the drama.

And if you take this video as a small movie, it has an impeccable script.

The story of 30 pieces of silver
And this video also laid out the important components on the shelves.

On one "shelf" there is a Soviet flag, a sickle and a hammer. The Soviet Union still remains a spiritual bond for millions of people. The Soviet Union is friendship, brotherhood, peace. It is such associations that arise in many adults.

On the other "shelf" is the choice that the pensioner makes: to remain faithful to the flag, or to choose food.

The flag is not just a canvas. The flag is the Motherland, it is respect for parents. And now we see how a person faces a choice: take food, accept material benefits, or choose something spiritual. This is a story about how a man rejects 30 pieces of silver.

I think I am going the read "The 13th Tribe" by Albert Koestler to gain some insight into Khazaria. Koestler is fairly brilliant and It's nice to have an excuse to read another of his books.
When you have read it, you can add your thoughts to the thread about it from 2006. It is found here:

There is another thread also about the book, but it only has 1 post, but is a review as well. It could be merged with the other thread as the threads are about the same thing, namely the book. That thread is:

Happy reading and as you will see it is a small book, easily read.
