Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

I sense that after they ended press conference and were going to start lunch Trump was introduced to an analysis of Zelenski's attitude (his faces, grimaces, and "suka"(bitch) muttered under his breath to Vance) and that's when, after a little of thinking, Trump and administration made a decision to kick Zelenski out. They also probably knew he was under the influence and decided there's no point in signing any agreement with drugged guy with no mandate.

This takedown of Zelensky was glorious.

I actually think that Trump may have sabotaged the meeting on purpose.
He doesn't want to deal with Zelensky and knows that Zelensky will do everything to sabotage the peace deal to keep the money rolling.
This way, Trump gets an excuse to axe the agreement, which threatens Zelensky's position in Ukraine as he's failing at his main role, which is keeping the money flowing into the Ukraine elite's pockets.
Trump can now also just stop support and let Ukraine capitulate. Problem solved.
And who cares what the media and other world leaders say. Trump has got the momentum and will keep doing what he wants.

As for “what the media will make out of this“: Who cares, really?

The real disaster happens in social media, and maybe this will be pivotal for Trump announcing a complete end to whatever they are still sending to Ukraine, whether its arms, money or both. Thinking about it, Zelensky shooting himself in the foot is the perfect way to build support among the American public for a ceasefire, what a day!

I actually think that Trump may have sabotaged the meeting on purpose.

That could actually be the case. Trump said a thing or two in there that might indicate that. Having said that, it seemed to arise rather spontaneously after Zelensky made another “no-go“ thing. I have also noticed a couple of questions from the people there that were favorable towards Trump and “hard“ on Zelensky before it really heated up. Just a coincidence, or were some of those questions planted by team Trump to aggravate Zelensky in front of the press?

We should remember that Zelensky is an entertainer by training. He's way in over his head in this situation and in fact, he may be a pure pawn in that he believes he's defending Ukraine against an actual invasion.

So the tragedy here may not be that Zelensky is playing some game but that he actually believes the narrative. Maybe what Trump found out is how out of touch with reality Zelensky is and that he's clearly dangerous to the peace process.

I mean, really, where does it end with Ukraine. You can't make a peace deal with Zelensky still president, and Zelensky won't accept an election. The US can pull everything out of their country militarily wise, but they want their money back.. and Germany is out here trying to fill the void the US will leave behind. So how does Trump actually get the war to stop?

For one, Zelensky needs to go. The most likely way is an internal coup with a General backed by the US and aligned with Russia. But Trump needs UK, Germany and France not to do anything stupid. These are high stakes games when you actually think about how the war stops on terms that are acceptable to Russia and US (plus Germany doesn't do anything stupid for feeling betrayed).

My money is internal coup in Ukraine if Zelensky doesn't take the deal to exile himself and live peacefully abroad in a mansion somewhere in France, UK or US. I bet he was offered a deal and I bet he said no and Trump got pissed and just basically threw him under the bus in that press conference. Now the consequences will roll in and Trump will pull a Sulemani on him.

Ukraine's ambassador covers her face. She knows he's cooked.
Rule number one in diplomacy: Don't associate in public with a moron. Embarrassment is contagious.

Also, calling the vice president "bitch" in front of the cameras in an official meeting is a red line in itself. So even if he was provoked, a sane person with some decorum and self-control wouldn't have reacted this way. There are not excuses. When the president of China was in the US, Biden called him dictator. But Xi is not a Zelenski (I'm tempted to use it as an insult from now on: you bloody zenlenski!).
According to Grok, there are no historical precedents for presidents being "kicked out" of the white house, even at the height of the cold war when basic diplomatic protocols were still respected despite the tensions. Also, from what I've seen of diplomatic missions, either you wear a suit, or the traditional clothes of you country. You don't arrive in jeans and T-shirt or whatever zelenski was wearing. Some people are their own enemies.
