A website to show to those who think UFOs are BS

The Force is Strong With This One
Hi,

A while ago I created a website with the best "evidence" I've found from my own research. The quotes section should be an interesting read for those who do not believe in UFOs.

Here it is: http://real-ufos.com

Have I forgotten any important cases/sightings or quotes - or have I included any incorrect ones? All feedback is welcome!

Hi Alx

I really like the overall design !!

And I think the selection of info and how it is presented is certainly a good way to get people started about the phenomena.

Thanks for spreading awareness !!

I saw you already had a quote of astronaut Edgar Mitchell

Maybe this one also deserves a spot :)

The U.S. Government hasn't maintained secrecy regarding UFOs. It's been leaking out all over the place. But the way it's been handled is denial, by denying the truth of the documents that have been leaked. By attempting to show them as fraudulent, as bogus.

There has been a very large disinformation and misinformation effort around this whole area. And one must wonder, how better to hide something out in the open than just to say. ''It isn't there. You're deceiving yourself if you think this is true.'' And yet, there it is right in front of you.

So it's disinformation effort that's concerning here, not the fact that they have been kept secret. They haven't kept it. It's been getting out into the public for fifty years or more.

- Dr, Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut.

Thanks! Glad you like it and think it can be useful :-)

As for the quote, good stuff! I'm not sure if I can fit it on the site though, as it is quite long - we will see!

I haven't spent much time on your site, but it looks promising. Separating the signal from the noise (separating true sightings and false sightings) is desparately needed in the UFO field. It helps nobody if true sightings are labeled as false, and false sightings labeled as true. It was especially refreshing to see a category for failed rockets (e.g. the spirals). You probably also need a category for lens reflections, and then start collecting examples.

Thanks Data! After listening to some feedback from reddit, 5 things were removed from the site:

- Paul Hellyer, Clifford Stone, Robert Dean for not being reliable characters.
- Alex Collier and The Terrapapers because, well, not many believe in them.

Added a final "More" section with Crop Circles, Cattle Mutilations, Ancient Art, UFO Images and Alien Images. Also an "Individuals" section and a warning to research this with caution :-)

Thank you VERY MUCH! :cool2: those subjects were always at the bottom of the list as noise is sooo hugeee that more focused place and more reliable editor is more than needed ...

Any link to that?

 Alx a big thumbs up to what you have created, I think its cool! I shall save your page as a book mark. Upon initial glance, I like how you have things in sections etc. I am not aware of many UFO topics, but I am sure this would be a good way to educate myself.

Hi Alx,

As I'm reading older sessions ATM, I ran into a mention of a triangular butterfly-like UFO in session November 7, 2015:

Q: (L) Okay, back to the butterfly UFO. Was this the one people were saying was a hoax?

(Perceval) No, that was the last session.

(Andromeda) I think it was the one that was on SOTT.

(L) Do we have a picture of it? Get us a picture.

(Galatea) [Goes to print picture of butterfly/boomerang UFO] Okay, it's this one.

(L) Oh yeah, that one.

(Andromeda) It's the boomerang butterfly.

(Galatea) Is it a legitimate UFO?

A: Legit.

Q: (Galatea) I knew it! I got one right. Is it the mothman?

A: 4D STS.

[Butterfly UFO footage: _https://youtu.be/UQNvkJPigiQ ]

Q: (Galatea) They're pretty. They're like butterflies.

(Scottie) Until they try to eat you!

(Galatea) It's like a manta ray/butterfly.

The SOTT article is here: https://www.sott.net/article/305275-Eerily-silent-butterfly-UFO-filmed-near-New-Boston-Kentucky

It mentions a father and son:

In the video and still photos snapped by a father and son near New Boston, the object appears to have wings and windows, leading many to insist it is in fact alien technology.

This is the original Yahoo article with more info: https://au.news.yahoo.com/technology/a/29961062/eerily-silent-ufo-filmed-over-us-skies/#page1

Taken all together, I think this is the one Felipe4 meant to ask you about.

Congrats for your excellent website, BTW. I've immediately bookmarked it for farther distribution when appropriate. :cool2:

EDITED to add YT video:

Looks very nice Alx. I think you've come to the right forum.

There are many intelligent people here who can provide you with suggestions and guidance, and who in my modest experience are generally very subtle about how they reply to you for the greater part.

I have focused my own efforts on understanding the mechanics of what some call UFO's: Not all UFO's are alien vehicles. That much is now obvious and I think I've proven that much to my own self.

Having said that, there appears to be some kind of other vehicles flittering about which are not "Officially Approved." ;)

Can't quite locate the link just now, but the National UFO Reporting Center has an interesting one about a flying beach ball like UFO, and these have been associated with many things as you are well aware.

One such unofficially approved flying beach ball may have blown up a Falcon 9 Rocket the other day. I have to conclude that these flying beach balls are not operating in accordance with accepted FAA Policy about air travel and flying in restricted airspace, and of course since the FAA wants all model airplanes registered, for a fee naturally, then I have to assume this was blatant disregard for those requirements as well. Draw your own conclusions I suppose but I somehow don't think they understand the importance of these regulations, either that or they just don't care.

These guys are claiming it's one of ours, but I'm not so sure about that claim myself.
